Wouldn’t it be fun if GT wrecked their playoff chances? All sports but football, iirc.
I wish they were; that way ND could take the ACC guaranteed playoff slot without taking up an additional slot instead.
From the SEC, ND plays TAMU (#20). From the B1G, Purdue (unranked), Stanford (unranked), USC (#23) From the ACC, Louisville (unranked), GT (unranked), FSU (#10 and about to drop), UVA (unranked).
I've got a pet one...he gets in my dumpster all the time and drags a bag or two of garbage over to the side of the house and goes through it. When we leave to go to work before daylight and stop and hollervat him, he will grunt at us and slowly shuffle off down the ravine behind our house and then up the mountain. Please tell me you ain't afraid of black bears
See them all the time around Dollywood, Cades Cove, and especially here around Asheville. Used to see them just strolling around Biltmore Village all the time when I worked there and a few would always get into my buddy's hot tub in Black Mountain.
Obviously wild creatures, but they're freakin wusses as long as you're not between a mom and her cub.
They're closer to acting like pandas than brown bears, grizzlies, polars...all 3 of which you TRULY don't want to encounter.
Stanford is now in the ACC, not the B1G.All sports but football, iirc.

I know it was kind of a busted play but i liked seeing the one late in the half where the snap was off and he kind of bobbled it around for a minute. No panic. Didnt let it rattle him. Just calmly took his time and gathered it. Was effortlessly athletic.Nico looked almost inhuman yesterday until the last couple of possessions before the half. But I think the entire offense started to break down a bit due to the score and heat. They knew they were almost done for the day anyway.
UTC had some surprisingly big dudes though.Suspect would be far too strong a word.
Was just hoping for mauling domination vs a smaller team. But again, have seen that in a lot of early season play past few years. Then we hit SEC play and start puking in-between snaps and go beast mode. Not worried by any means. Just greedy.

I always wanted to see SF...when I actually got there in 21 and was driving around through town...I couldn't wait to get out. It was like a zombie apocalypse in one large area we drove through. I don't know what that part of town bias called, but it was heinous...a huge part of LA we drove through was like that too....just massive homeless tent cities with mountains of garbage and thousands of human derelicts right along the highways.Don't go to SF. That place is my number 1 least favorite city.
All running games get bogged down against the better defensive lines..that's why they are called the better defensive lines..I don’t think it is suspect but this system makes the run blocking look better than it is at times. It is why we get bogged down at times against better defensive lines or coaches that are better at defending the veer and shoot. Every year… our line is getting stronger. This is our best team in years, imo.
I admit it...those things scare the piss out of me...you can just sense their power from a hundred yards away.If you see a Grizzlie, it's prob too late.
IDK. My mom is in her 70s and will sit outside on days that would melt the devil and she complained about the heat at Neyland yesterday. This is a woman who wears light sweaters all the time in summer. Yesterday was no joke and we don’t get a ton of super hot days to acclimate. She has been attending forever and this was the first time she has ever complained about the heat. Guys weren’t breaking down but that kind of heat will exhaust you even when you’re in great condition. We’ve got a real problem if we were breaking down bc of the heat vs a team like UTC where we were naming the score.
But I’ll agree on the loss of focus due to score.
Yep...I was on the Midway geyser basin boardwalk in 2017 and had just got past the Turquoise and the Opal pools on thevway back to the parking lot, when a whole herd came blasting across the boardwalk between me and the parking lot...probably 50-75 bison thundering by in a half gallop...that was cool and terrifying at the same time. That's nuts.
Recall leaving dorm, for Pub in Yellowstone, 2003. (It's 50 feet away). Took a wizz by a tree. As I walked away, a male bison walked out of trees. Just walked back in the building, and took long way.
**** that.
