If Florida can't hire a guaranteed good head coach after Mullen's 2018-2020 run, what hope does South Carolina have?

That's what's crazy about the SEC. Once you start to suck, there's a good chance it will last at least a decade because most coaching hires fail. So unless you get lucky right out of the gate, you'll burn through 3-4 coaches wasting 3-4 years on each of them until you find a suitable long-term one. And the worse your program is, the more likely you are to burn through a bunch of duds and the longer it will take to find a decent coach.

After we went up by 45 points, it almost looked like Nico got bored. The 1st few drives, he was unstoppable. Every pass was on the money.



(I love that Nico addressed it at the press conference though. I don't think we see him lose his focus like that, again. All gas. No brakes.)

He was extremely honest in that PC...he basically admitted what was abundantly obvious..they all lost focus.

I'm rolling LSU. They are going to be better than people think. They've recruited at a really high level the last 3 cycles. Plus that QB they have is a slinger.

IDK. My mom is in her 70s and will sit outside on days that would melt the devil and she complained about the heat at Neyland yesterday. This is a woman who wears light sweaters all the time in summer. Yesterday was no joke and we don’t get a ton of super hot days to acclimate. She has been attending forever and this was the first time she has ever complained about the heat. Guys weren’t breaking down but that kind of heat will exhaust you even when you’re in great condition.

Not sure if it was the humidity or what, but yesterday was powerfully hot--hotter than the numbers on the thermo. I walked 18 holes, starting at 07:30, and by the fourth hole I'd sweated through my clothes already.

No...Heup was pretty ticked over the loss of focus at the end of the half. He wanted them to run a crisp 2 minute drill and got a crap mess instead...lol

Nico looked almost inhuman yesterday until the last couple of possessions before the half. But I think the entire offense started to break down a bit due to the score and heat. They knew they were almost done for the day anyway.

Nico was throwing dimes like it was a video game.

I'll always appreciate Matt Simms for taking a beating behind a very young offensive line through the bulk of the SEC season until they went to Bray. And then, Simms playing the next season after Bray was injured.

Some of those throws were ones only someone like Nico could make. Throwing right over LBs to your WR would give a coach a heart attack with anyone else. He’s just that good.
