Judge in House vs NCAA settlement says no go. Gave them 3 weeks to make some changes that she can live with.
If she rules against the settlement, they way I understand it all 3 cases will return to their respective courts for trail.
The biggest hang ups 1- Booster/NIL limitations - the NCAA wants
2- the locking in of future athletes to a 10 year deal. The NCAAs response to this was
”well they can always just sue us” can not make this 💩 up

I think this attempt to backdoor the old NCAA regime via class-action settlement is reprehensible.

If I were the judge in this case, I would tell the defendants to either settle the damages claim or go to trial; but if they want a “new” enforcement scheme, they either need to follow antitrust law or get an exemption from Congress.

There is no way I would sign off on rule making via settlement.

The new so-called independent body the NCAA is proposing has already been attempted. That's how basketball pet Kansas -- caught red-handed in a scheme where their shoe company was paying Kansas's players -- walked away in a crooked deal that did not punish them in huge and indisputable case.

The NCAA having delegated enforcement as an "experiment," then said there was nothing they could do about the decision and that it would be unfair to reopen the case after the outside people had decided to do nothing. Very convenient.

It somewhat reminds of how the CFP said they couldn't do anything about Michigan because the NCAA was investigating, and the crooked NCAA stalled for Michigan for two years.

Are the Fins going to be good and is Jaylen Wright going to have a big role? I want to see him romp. Never followed them, but I'm suddenly very Fin-curious. 😆
Both of those questions I can answer with my very best Austin Price voice: “50/50”

Will we be good? I think so, but I still think we are more of a 10 win edge of playoffs type team instead of a legit contender. It’ll all come down to the first year DC we have and our OL, imo. If healthy, both are decent. But both are 1 important injury away from being in big trouble. No depth.

As for JW, I think he will certainly have a role but I just don’t know if it’s more of a few touches a game type role or consistent 3rd down back type role. Mostert and Achane will get the bulk but both of them missed time last year. One good thing going for JW is McDaniel has praised his pass blocking before. Add that to the way they got him involved in the passing game a few plays this preseason and I could see him working his way into some consistent minutes this year. Quickest way to get on the field as a back that’s fighting for minutes is to show that you can be relied upon in pass blocking too.

Welcome to the Dolphins fanbase though! It can get pretty bumpy at times here so wear your seatbelt and bring your cup.

Exactly how I feel...I have no sympathy for them, I straight up hate them...I want them to go 0fer in every sport forever...they are the biggest bunch of pretentious arrogant for no good reason pricks in the world.

I want to physically and mentally annihilate and humiliate them in every football game we play them forever.
