I have both. If I have time, nothing beats the low and slow old method. I have yet to get the same flavor from a pellet smoker. It is good and quick but not as good as traditional smoking.

The smoker itself doesn't give me as much, but I use a supplemental smoke tube and get all the smoke I want. Good pellets help too. Lumber Jack are great.

If you had to choose would you take Sampson or Wright from last season?

That's tough. I think they're both about even talent wise. Last season, I felt like Wright was indestructible and could carry a game. This season (so far), Sampson has shown better leadership skills than Wright but I also worry about his size and making it a full season healthy. I'm going to say Wright. He's a tough RB, that made up for a lot of the QB/receivers short comings last season. Defenses focused on Wright late last season and he still produced a lot of yardage. Sampson will not be the defense's focus this season. Nico and most of the WRs are legit.

*They are both superior running backs.
