Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I don't think my alma alma wants that smoke! 😂 And the TV market is already covered by LSU. But those would be fabulous road games. It's a whole different vibe since Tulane moved out of the (mostly empty) Super Dome to an on-campus stadium.
My uncle got his law degree from Tulane. He loves that place.....

From what I have seen UGA is great on D good on offense. USC w was balanced. LSU is good also, but a year away. Ole Miss is explosive. Penn is over rated. Texas is balanced and will be a tough out for anyone. AR is better than expected but beatable.

Be honest though. Texas is good. The slobber fest is likely, but their good.
Good, not sure if they're great. I truly do think Michigan is overrated. Same feeling about Penn State. I feel like the Big 10 overall is overrated this year based off of their expansion. I see Ohio State as easily their best team. Second best will probably end up being one of the former PAC12 teams. A few others will have decent seasons. But I think this might be a down year for their conference.

I do think it’s a little bit of both. Texas is solid. But Michigan is only ranked in the top 10 because of last year.

Yep. Texas is good. I’m not downplaying their talent. They are one of the best 10 teams in the country. But the media is going to slobber over this whipping of a “Top 10 team” when Michigan may not even finish in the Top 25 at year’s end.

They will look better when they get back to playing meatyokra big 10 teams

This is also why you don’t hire interim head coaches based on emotion. Hiring Sherron Moore just because he held the ship together last year was very stupid. Michigan could have pulled almost any coach they wanted to a certain degree.

Of course it was reported this week Moore is currently coaching without a signed contract still so he may not be the coach after this year.

Texas is a good football team obviously but Michigan isn’t anywhere near where they were the last few seasons. They can’t throw it at all they can run alittle bit but not great and their defense has missed so many tackles. Last week as well. Turned the ball over a few times. They aren’t the same.

It's against a team currently with a number in front of their name. It is must definitely not against an actual Top 25 team. Idiotic pre-season poll strikes again.
In some ways reminiscent of when they beat Texas a couple years ago. They were ranked at the time but ended up finishing 5-7

Harbaugh leaving as late as when he did kinda screwed them with the transfer portal. Since the window had closed if they hire any other coach they probably see an exodus of players
