Dude, it's not "inconsistency." It's absolutely consistent. You just don't grasp yet how well these refs are consistently doing exactly what they set out to do.I don't disagree with you. I do think that some that they call are very questionable and others they don't call clearly are targeting based on the current rule. The inconsistency of it all is what is frustrating.
#StoomersBob Stoops to FSU still possible?
11/9 @ 9:15 a.m.
Good morning! Apologize that there hasn't been more updates lately. There just hasn't been much newsworthy to report the last couple days.
The most relevant nugget to come our why is that the negotiations are close to wrapping up and a decision from Bob Stoops could come as soon as Sunday.
A couple things to keep in mind here. First, as we've been saying, it's still unknown what Stoops will ultimately decide. Just because FSU has met his basic demands (as presented through his representative) it doesn't mean he'll pull the trigger. There are some in the Stoops' camp that feel he may not want to get back into college coaching. Then there's the threat from other schools. However, a source in the Stoops' camp told us that all things being equal, he prefers FSU over other schools with likely openings.
Second, even if a basic agreement is reached don't expect anything to be announced for a while. The most consistent thing we've heard from our FSU sources is that it's going to be a couple weeks before an actual hire is made.
We have additional confirmation that Deion Sanders is not a legitimate candidate for the head coaching position. It's disappointing that Ian Rapoport even tweeted about it, because he's usually pretty good when it comes to NFL news. But he's completely out to lunch
From my FSU buddy, sounds like Grummors to me.![]()
