Weird thought:

What if 1) Bama wins out, 2) LSU wins out, but loses to UGA in SECCG, 3) UGA wins completely out???

Does the SEC get 3 teams in or wtf happens there?

Real talk, if Bailey is starting next season as a True Freshman he will have earned it & be a stud.

Pruitt won’t hand the job over to anyone who has earned it. Honestly wouldn’t mind another season with JG starting...
agreed! Would be fantastic if JG and Shrout stay. Will be great competition for that starting spot. Whoever comes out of it #1 I will feel very good about!

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl
TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville, Florida
Jan. 2, 7 p.m., ESPN

Bonagura: Tennessee vs. Illinois
Schlabach: Tennessee vs. Iowa

Thoughts????
Hard pass on both.

Played Iowa 5 years ago and embarrassed them.

Illinois just doesn't move the meter whatsoever. In fact, fewer fans may travel playing a no name team. Illinois is like Wake Forest, they should be in the group of 5.

Can't we play ACC or Big12 at least? Tired of whipping B1G.

Unless I counted wrong we appear to be using 84/85 scholarships according to 24/7 distribution list.

Redshirts on scholarship that don't/can't play:
QB K. Hill
WR D. Gibbs
WR B. Johnson
WR B. Collins
TE S. Brown
OL C. Akporoghene
OL J. Lampley
DL E. Gooden
OLB J. Allen
DB B. Buchanan

That's 10 and that puts us down to 74 guys. Of those 74 here's the other names not getting any PT
QB S. Smith
QB M. Bittner
RB F. Orr
WR J. Means
TE J. Warren

TE H. Salmon
OL O. Lane
OL P. Ball
DL E. Rinke
ILB A. Beasley
ILB D. Beauchamp
CB K. Solomon
S C. Labruzza
S T. Flowers (not sure if he'll be able to get a Medical RS)
S T. Fields
S B. Davis

That's another 16 guys, so the number is actually probably 58 instead of 63. I think a few guys in that 16 have played some reps (see bold) but yeah, 63/64 sounds right.

Kasim Hill is not currently on scholarship. Walkon transfer. Obviously will be awarded one as soon as whatever time limit allows it but he’s not part of the current scholarship numbers.

Edit: Add S. Smith, Orr, Salmon, Ball, Rinke and Beauchamp...all walk ons.

Have to be just LSU and UGA cause OSU and Clemson would be the others
I think its hard to say at all at this point. I think Clemson is definitely going to win out, but LSU could lose in the SEC championship to Georgia. Georgia could lose to Auburn. Alabama could lose to Auburn. Ohio State could still lose to Penn State and/or Michigan, and Minnesota could be undefeated with a couple ranked wins heading into the BIG10 CG. A 1 loss Oregon or Utah will win the Pac12. Baylor could be undefeated and win the Big12 with several ranked wins.

Subtract Hill and Collins as they are walkons.

Smith? Bittner? Obviously walkons too. As are Orr and Salmon. And Ball, Rinke, Beauchamp.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness post

@MoCo_Vol That said, I think the idea is correct. I went through the same page and just counted on hand and came up with...63. They are discounting projected RSs and injuries. Doesn't feel honest, but whatever.
