Agreed. I actually thought these refs were much better than most. They seemed to let them play. They have to call 12 on the field.

Ah I'm not sure. I know when they were playing on our end of the field they missed a very very obvious false start and several holds. Additionally the Palmer TD where he got his foot down which they initially called incomplete happened right in front of me. I was literally looking down the sideline and was about 50 feet from it and it was obvious. Should have been reviewed no doubt. But it should have been called a TD to begin with.

Plus I haven't rewatched the game yet so I'm not sure what it looked like on tv but I have serious questions the way the very next play after the targeting was overturned. Bowden went down and trainers attended to him on the field. They lined up to run the next play and Bowden lined up at QB. It wasn't until about 4 of our coaches ran on the field and brought it to their attention that they stopped the play and made Bowden go to the sideline. The play clock never ran (or was reset). I'm no expert but shouldn't that have been a delay of game at the very least?

Now a lot of people are calling it into question.

My concern was all his top rated recruits were wide receivers from California. Not that hard of a sell when you’re the premier football university in the entire state.

Exactly......I hope it’s Illinois or Indiana. Easier games. Rather have a win than play a “blue blood” right now.

Yeah I've actually watched several of their games this year. They're a better football team and it isn't that close at the this point in the rebuild. JMO
