IMO, the only reason Tee is here is because of Fulmer. I do not see him as a good fit with Pruitt and Chaney.

That’s very weak for a fella that was brought in here as an elite recruiter.

Given that so much of recruiting is relationships, I question if the disappointment with Tee this season is not having relationships with guys we would target. He's been on the West Coast long enough where that's where his relationships would be, and it would/could be hard to draw them this way. Maybe he gets a mulligan for this year, maybe not. I'm for whatever Pruitt feels he needs to do to solidify his staff. I would like to see Tee stay, but if he doesn't, I won't be heartbroken.

One thing I know for certain, how we started the season had to hurt everyone on staff in recruiting. Had to be tough to overcome. We've made a turnaround, and we can sell progress, but the question will remain if it's too little too late for some. I trust this staff though, to find guys who can play, even if they aren't the highly rated first choice we might have wanted. Next year, we need to start strong and show these kids TN is truly on the rise.

With the KY win, and now an off week, I'm curious where we'll turn and what we'll do in recruiting. The landscape is constantly shifting, and I wonder if we'll pick up new interest because of it. I saw earlier where LSU picked up it's 25th commit. They have to be about full, so those kids who have been leaning their way nut may not have a spot, where do they look now? Haven't checked, but I'd guess other schools may be close as well. The more spots that are taken, the more you have recruits looking around to see what other options they might have. Maybe we luck out and find some new targets that may not have been on the board before. Not to mention, with HS seasons wrapping up, you have new film to evaluate as well. Could be an interesting week.
