I'm on a 2 day streak for lunch HIIT at the Planet...
I've lost roughly 20ish pounds mostly from diet changes through our 2 weight loss contest. @Big Gucci Sosa props on putting those together.
Now I'm trying to get the cardio/exercise in. Have been super happy to realize I can run (at least for the intervals so far!). Not sure what weight I'll end up at, mainly focusing on the inches and look.
6'2" so I think I can carry 220 pretty well, especially if it's more muscle weight than fat. But wouldn't mind to be less than 220 if I don't look like a skeleton doing it. No clue if I can get to "abs visible" levels, but it's a goal...
I remember that the first time I heard of the BMI I was when Herschel Walker was playing in college and he was listed as obese by that calculation.I was told I was obese at a health awareness event i helped promote and put on where I use to work. At the time, was around 210, 10-11% bf. I asked the lady to tell me why I was “obese”; and she said bc your BMI on this scale says you are. I was being an ass, and lifted up my shirt and said does this look obese...she didn’t have much to say! Lol
We are all the way up to #34 in FPI. I think that is a pretty fair ranking. Our offense is still holding us back, but our defense is playing well enough to win game after game versus other decent teams. All these rating systems (FPI, Sagarin, etc.) still have Tennessee undervalued. That early season start is keeping them down. But that's OK. Let Missouri think Tennessee is an easier out.
Place in W Asheville, Zia Tacqueria, spot on.Hahaha I love that episode. Honestly though I haven't met those types here. Far more normal folks, just chill and relaxed folks seem to be around here. I'm sure there are gasbags in pockets, but at least in our building, group of friends, and dozens of people I've met working here years, I haven't met them. Just a bunch of normal people, inclined to being outdoorsy, crafty, being religiously open, and love some beer. Honestly, I think the worst are the tourists that come here looking for that snobby foodie high-art sort of thing. Other visitors see them and think it's us.
But you are partly right on the hippies/artists. Sadly the artisans made this town what it is and they are slowly being priced out. But they haven't all left, just all in West Asheville or living 10 to a house in Montford. Black Mountain is certainly nice and still retaining itself. Love Montreat too for hikes.
dw, IS ensures every 19-21 yr old female thinks they're next Spiegel model. idiots.Hipster transplanting seems to be happening everywhere. Visited Nashville over the summer and it was unrecognizable. Especially that Gulch area. Thought I was in LA for a moment, minus the whole "your Mcdonald's cashier is an 11 and your female janitor is a part time supermodel" feeling.
