Yeah ended up with 4.5 inches here at the house. I know up in Wise they got over 6. Normally the KY side gets it worse than we do here.

Thanks for the suggestions..I love Western NC in general. The whole area is beautiful, unlike Kentucky they have not raped the natural landscape into an ugly wasteland. Eastern Kentucky could be, and still is in some small places, a beautiful outdoors wonderland if the Coal and logging industry would finally leave it be. As it is the rivers and creeks are mostly toxic mudholes, and the mountains that have not been flattened or blasted into a moonscape by strip mining are getting logged to death...it is sad

I live in Harlan Kentucky and if I remember correctly Appy lives in Appalachia Virginia..it is on the other side of Big Black mountain from me. The state line between Virginia and Kentucky runs across Black Mountain. I think you are thinking of Black Mountain NC.

Thailand is beautiful. But all cities have issues. Bangkok is beautiful.

To compare, New York is disgusting and in my opinion not very pretty. Lol.

New York was way to cold for me personally but then again I went in February (My mistake) but still...I just assumed that “Jungle” like territories are all humid aside from the fact their government is different from ours and doesn’t allow all the same opportunities as we have here.

Bro you need to travel more overseas things are definitely different that’s for sure but as long as you don’t act stupid and make sure you are in the right places after dark etc you are fine in a lot of countries. Other countries while not necessarily fully developed are still beautiful.
