We are all the way up to #34 in FPI. I think that is a pretty fair ranking. Our offense is still holding us back, but our defense is playing well enough to win game after game versus other decent teams.

I sort of agree with Tennessee at 34, except for the part where Mississippi State is 26, Missouri is 28, and South Carolina is 32.

That, and things like Minnesota at 19 while Penn State is 6.

Oh, man... what is that documentary about mountain top removal in SE Kentucky? I think it's from KY?? Probably more than one.

OT, but i went to high school (Anderson Co, north of Knox) with three siblings who were from Harlan.
There are a couple that focus on West Virginia and SE Kentucky. It is just freakin ugly, but the unregulated logging going on now is the worst...they just obliterate mountainsides...it is so disheartening. I am all for people working, but unregulated logging+unrestrained greed destroys everything it touches.

There are so many streams, that had recovered from the devastation of strip mining, and were still running clear when I moved here four years ago that are nothing but 40 miles of mud thanks to logging now...🤬

Starting to happen in TN also, I agree its ugly. People move into rural areas and destroy the beauty of the mountains. They destroy the reason for moving to the mountains.
