A great performance last night. I was fortunate enough to fly back with the guys last night post game and the energy and atmosphere this team and staff has created is truly amazing to witness. This team is a freight train moving at light speed...I don’t see anything stopping them from demolishing candy next week and then I really feel sorry for any team that has to face us in a bowl game.

All of this is making its way through the recruiting “networks” as well...expect a very strong finish.

He approves......

Saw the 1st uncalled targeting was was widely discussed in the game thread but there was a second.

When we win, nobody cares but if we don't get something done about the inconsistency, it's gonna cost us more games in the future.
Call them on every team equally or don't call them.

I'm all for not calling it at all unless it's absolutely blatant. If you get hit too hard and get a concussion, that's just the price you pay.

I’ll say what may get me roasted but so be it.

JG deserved the roasting he was getting. (Not to the extremity of the crazies) It was talked to about in the broadcast last night that he was calling his own plays and number early in the season and it was coming back to bite him. He played stupid and wasn’t a team guy.

Then Bama happened.

After that and the benching, he took inventory of his football life and realized he needed to change. As many of us do as we get older. He made a decision to buy in to the system and its shown over the past 4-5 weeks.

The criticism was justified then, just as much as the praise is justified now. I was extremely harsh on him and yet have never doubted his toughness or passion. He struggles leading receivers on crossing routes but is one of the best timing/spot passers in the country. He just needs to keep getting better. He learned a valuable lesson this year and hopefully it pays off for him and us in the long run.

Here's the thing, who said he was calling his own plays and going rogue? I never heard Pruitt or the coaches say that...can't let the narrative by the outside the loop media paint you into an opinion that may completely be founded on unproven truths.

I don't get why some QBs get a pass for doing the exact same sort of thing JG has been accused of, Maurer forces throws or takes unnecessary risk running RPOs in ways that could be called selfish but he's "trying to win" or "playing with emotion" meanwhile JG is trying to do the same thing but he's "selfish" and "playing for himself"...what's the deal? The decision at Bama wasn't smart but it's a single instance. And I guarantee you JG making that decision had nothing to do with glory chasing, he probably assumed (like most people would) that running the same play that didn't work before was one they'd be ready for so he tried to do something different, and it backfired. But he made the decision trying to help the team win that game absolutely nothing about JG, the staff, or his teammates has even come close to making him out to be a selfish player.

He was trying to do too much, most QBs do that. Especially 4th year guys who are feeling the burden of everything wrong at UT on their shoulders. Once he learned to just trust his teammates that's when things turned around, but Jordan Rodgers (who in the same broadcast said his former teammate was a 4.7 or 4.6 guy, but actually ran a 4.46 laser timed 40 at the combine) trying to hammer home some axe he's grinding about JG being selfish just isn't a narrative I think we as fans should buy into.

Back where we belong in the SEC Traditional Big Six.

There’s a reason those 6 schools are paired with one another in the permanent crossover games.

Keep building. Keep climbing.

Next year we challenge for the East.
I think finishing 3rd this year is kind of a big deal...

That was a game changing hit. Not sure if the ball was out before or after it, but it should have been called. The one they did call was not even close, either.

Whose a$$ did he grab? Not that there's anything wrong with it...

The TV replay was from the backside angle, the ball definitely came out as a result of targeting.

The other angle also shows the true force of impact. TJ's head whips so violently, I was just glad he was ok after watching the replay. I'll try to post that angle in a bit.

3rd sentence in this tweet. Those who did that are menaces to society. I get that JG was really bad, but that is BEYOND ignorant. In the end it's just a game, folks.
Any dumba$$ that sends death threats to a any player, or his family members, is pond scum. There's a special place in he!! for those people. It's just a game and not life or death. SMH

I am going to continue to live vicariously through you. Seriously, I am sure that ride home was unbelievable.

If JG wants to meet me at waffle House and kick me square in the jewels I'll allow it. I left him for dead many times and he played one of the best games of any UT qb in history last night. Mad respect for that kid.
If he can't make it, I will gladly punt you in the jimmies for him.

We've been called for much less, multiple times.
Call 'em or "let 'em play", don't care which, but **** needs to be consistent.

That's exactly the kind of concussion inducing hit they're supposedly focusing on. Refs didn't call, replay guy skipped right past.
SEC play is at highest level and so should officiating. Why even have replay, if they miss it half the time?

Lol, just don't stroke out trying to post it.

And if you watch it again, look at the ref. He's staring directly at the contact.
There was one against Alontae(I believe) earlier in the year that was even more blatant but this was up there.

If Mizzou had scored and won as a result... well, it needs to be fixed.
