Winning the bowl game doesn’t really matter all the much tbh. Would it be great to win it? Of course. But if we get to Jacksonville and get matched up with Penn state or something and we lose then so be it. Would rather that be the case than playing Toledo in the Birmingham bowl or something

Those Pelatone commercials are goofy. Guy buys his hot thin wife a bike and she makes obnoxious workout selfie videos. Yay

they cost like 2500 and you have to pay a 40. monthly subscription to do the video rides. Dated a girl that had one. Thought it was the dumbest thing I’d ever heard but she loved them.

Franks was terrible before he got hurt. Trask is a much better passer. I don’t understand why Franks started over him in the first place

I think they wanted to use up enough clock so they would not have to punt. I think maybe math is the problem instead of play call..

Next year will be the year to determine how well this staff is at recruiting and developing. Basically every good player from butch will be gone and all of pruitts guys will be in primary roles.

It was frustrating the way we just couldn't finish drives. Two blocked field goals, the fumbles, etc. Our fans showed up, they didn't outnumber us by much. Besides it being incredibly cold it was a fun game. The student section chanted for us to suck their tiger dick, but I mean that's kids and happens a lot of different places.

We make fun of their "hs" stadium, but it was actually really nice. Plenty of concession stands and bathrooms. The concourse was huge. They deserve better fan support than what the get, I was amazed how many of their fans left at halftime, poured out in droves.

The guys were pumped the whole game. JJ demanded the ball a few times, we were two rows up and could hear a little bit of the interactions. Trey and Quez came up to our section after the game and we're giving everyone high fives. It was overall a really cool experience.

Also F*** them and their cannon, it was right down from us and gave me a heart attack every time they scored. Also random was the Mizzou firetruck that drove around the stadium and sprayed their fans with water? It was freezing out there, made no sense.

Sure handed, big bodied receiver, first down machine with a knack for yards after catch ? He will get drafted my friend .

I don’t think Franks was terrible, not great or anything. he gave them an added running threat that trask didn’t especially in short yardage. But they definitely got more than advertised in trask.

It will be interesting to see what happens with their QB room this year. Glad we got them at home.

WRs are a dime a dozen in the draft. You separate yourself at the combine and JJ isn’t going to measure very well in terms of 40, vertical, cone drill etc.

i think he can play in the league for sure, but he has to go to a team that utilizes a bigger bodied slot WR. I don’t think He can’t play on the outside in the nfl, he’s not fast enough.

I didn't catch it the first time but, after Cole grabs JP by the arm, after coach says we need to play smart, and says "you just had three 100 yard receivers in one game in the history of the program...JP looks like he's about to snatch Cubelic by the jersey and rip him a new one.


One of the best things about this team is that they FINALLY look like they've completely bought in and taken on the personality of the coach.

I literally took like 2-3 weeks off of football this season. After BYU and Ga State, I had never been more discouraged about this program--mostly because, before those losses, I had wholeheartedly believed that JP was the coach we've all been waiting for but, seeing this team look to be in complete disarray after just 2 games, it looked like we were destined for yet another potential coaching search. After my short sabbatical from football, I can back to the same conclusion--it was just going to take JP longer than I expected but, there's absolutely no way that he'd forgotten how to coach. It was going to take the players longer to buy in, it was going to take at least one more recruiting class than I expected, etc. etc.

...but JP was still the guy.

Well...after this season, I might not be 100% right about everything but one thing I am certain of, Jeremy Pruitt will bring this program back to its rightful place among the SEC elite...eventually.

We have the AD. We have the head coach. We have the coordinators. We have the position coaches. We just need the players and some minor adjustments here and there.

We're not back but...we're on our way.

*ahem*

I saw someone say that they would rather get that “guaranteed“ 8th win, basically hoping for a better matchup over a better bowl bid.

I’m saying i would rather go to the best bowl game, even if it is against a better team.

To me,,,,
Tax slayer bowl loss > liberty bowl win.
