Buchanan. D. Taylor got hurt in fall camp. It affected him through the first few weeks of the season as he didn't have that ability to explode off the line, but long term injuries have been at a minimum.

Buchanan’s is a congenital narrowing of the spine...not the result of any specific injury.

He gave the quotes and I'm sure he's read the articles and seen the response. If he thinks he's being misinterpreted, then he should speak up and set the record straight. Because saying he was "very uncomfortable" with what the new staff was asking him to do and telling the media that it impacted his long-term health and future are not positive comments. I think he said what he meant to say and left the impression he meant to leave. Otherwise, why not clarify his position?
That’s fine. But the way I read it was that they asked him to practice on it then he quickly realized he was uncomfortable and they shut him down.

He goes on to say he doesn’t really blame Pruitt for it.

To be honest, I don’t really care about this story and haven’t dug into it much. Former player is upset because his career has been taken out of his hands. Fans rallying around current coach they see as successful. The story is ripe for overreaction.

If we play and lose to Michigan... what is that really hurting.. they should beat us.

but if we were to put a good ole fashioned ass whipping on them, recruiting is going to sky rocket.

I think one thing that would benefit us against Michigan is perception from their players and fans. They all had much bigger goals for the season. Kinda like when we played Clemson in the Peach Bowl. Fans and Players of Tennessee had much bigger goals and that was a let down and Clemson was eager to prove themselves and continued momentum and won by 10 points if memory is correct.

Meh, this Kirkland injury crap will blow over by next week and more people are talking about PETA and UGA... Pruitt should ban all media, especially Ubben from any contact with the program for a while... all they seem to do is find any negative they can... F'em

I just learned of this game and they say there are more moves possible than there are atoms in the universe. I can’t even begin to comprehend how this is possible.
What is the game Go? What is the game Go?

I remember reading a novel years ago about a James Bond-type character who lived in the Basque Mountains, had grown up in Japanand had an Asian girlfriend, and he was a master at Go.

Kirkland was one of those players Butch allowed to decide how much he needed to work out and how hard he needed to practice. Pruitt was having none of that. He pushes and challenges every player. The ones who didn't want to be pushed left... and the entire team is stronger with everyone bought in.
In before Hank calls me out again for calling them a bunch of lazy soft quitters..

ii get what you're saying, but just being realistic...conf title games aren't going anywhere....too much money.

the only way to fix what we have now is to NOT lose the revenue they're currently generating, and find a way to probably increase it in the process.

so, assume that conf title games aren't going anywhere....i still say you win your conf, you get in to the playoff. no pressure LSU. lol.
Little late to the party on this one, but 5 p5 conference champions, highest g5 conference champion, and two at larges.
Perfect world for me is all 10 conference champions and 6 at larges, but that's not going to happen.

The '16 and '17 teams were soft. I remember Ethan Wolf saying in the summer before '17 season that an NFL scout had called the team 'soft'. But really, it only took looking at that group pic of those flabby linemen trying to flex to know the '17 team wasn't going to fare well against SEC competition.

Looking forward, I'll remember to say a silent Thanks to DKjr giving what he could for UT as he runs thru the T for the last time sat !
Kudos to the staff or whomever for even thinking to offer him the opportunity.
