I’m still not sure who we are playing for sure. Going through the thread like...

42-24 Vols
I’ll say they will score because that offense is different. Fortunately we have a defensive minded coach who will shut that ish down eventually.
They will not be able to stop us at all
But that wasn’t the consensus...just yours and others who agreed with you. I thought he was very good at the job and the numbers back me up. If UT hadn’t made the move, he’d have been a HC the following season...most likely at Arkansas. Pittman hasn’t been a candidate ANYWHERE...so nowhere near the same situation.Where have I knocked Fulmer? All I said was he wasn't all that well thought of as an OC here.
I loved it when the Northwestern fans were trying to say their 5.7 40-yard dash DE was better than 1st-round Super Bowl-winning Derek BarnettLet them talk smack. It makes it even sweeter when we beat them. Remember all the Iowa and Northwestern fans talking trash, I ate all the tears up afterwards.
They all scare me .Honestly none of these hires scare me:
- Kiffin will recruit well and it may impact us negatively just a bit. However, Kiffin can't stay out of his own way. He will screw things up one way or another eventually.
- Pittman is a solid coach, but has zero HC experience. Wasn't even the OC for UGA last year even though they literally just had an opening. He also may recruit well but he has a HUGE hole to climb out of. Also super excited he has left UGA.
- Drinkwitz could be solid, but you truly are rolling the dice there. No proof of recruiting. His biggest claim is he took over a really solid App State team and didn't let them fall apart. We really don't have a body of work to make a decision one way or the other.
All three of these hires were risky. Ole Miss should of went all in (overpaid) for Norvell, Arky should of hired Bill Clark, and Mizzou should of kept Odom.
Lol. Are you reading my post? I said just the opposite. I said I didn't take that stance. And it was more than just my circle of people. It was wide spread. I don't know if I would characterize it as most but there was a huge group of people that felt that way.But that wasn’t the consensus...just yours and others who agreed with you.
