Well, we've played Indiana once before. 1988 peach bowl on January 2nd. Vols won 27-22.

Coincidentally in the 1988 draft, the Vols had #9 draft pick Terry McDaniel selected. Indiana had the #10 selection Eric Moore.

I screwed that all up. No way we went to a bowl at 5-6. I think it was the 1988 Peach Bowl (Jan 2), but it was the 1988 season we went 5-6.

My point is that there are no guarantees in coaching hires. Their last coach had many of the things you say Pittman lacks and we saw how that turned out. Pruitt lacked many of the things that Morris had and he seems to be doing ok. A football coach is a football coach. Most here thought coach O would fail miserably, me included. Would I want Sam Pittman here as a head coach of the Vols? Heck no. I think he could be a solid hire. Head coaches have to get their chance somewhere and they all don't have to come from the coordinator ranks, imo.

Pittman=Bielema and YawYawYawMEhlEhsShoe is a joke figurehead that yells unintelligible BS a lot..as soon as he loses his Coords he is toast....at least that is my opinion.
