If we're giving out Git shirts though then we must have some bigger fish ready to set the hook on.

Be a big time class if we squeeze into the top 10 after the way the season started.
Who gets the Git and why? Everyone keeps saying Williamson but I've seen the kid play last year and he's a legit 6'3 with mid 4.5 type speed

The schools and the bowls submitted a list of preferences and the SEC sorted it out. Gator and MCB both had UT #1. The SEC made the assignments for the pool of 6 bowls, putting UT in a less preferential bowl than UK, even though UK finished lower in the SEC pecking order. Changing that dominoed everything, since Louisville had already been slotted in the MCB and nobody wanted a UK-Louisville rematch. Nobody knew how it was going to end up, so it was all speculation until it was official.
This is exactly what I thought lil nickie would tell he direct reports over there to do.
Then, I'm guess Fulmer Fulmered.

Wanya and To'o To'o made the 24/7 True Freshman All-American Team:

OL – Wanya Morris, Tennessee
247Sports Composite: No. 28 overall, No. 6 offensive tackle
A five-star talent, Morris started in nine of the 10 games he played. Tennessee ended the regular season with 297 yards rushing against Vanderbilt.

LB – Henry To'oto'o, Tennessee
247Sports Composite: No. 44 overall, No. 3 outside linebacker
A massive win for the Volunteers on Signing Day, To’oto’o chose Tennessee over Alabama and made his presence felt from the jump. Tennessee’s first true freshman starting linebacker since 2011, To’oto’o was third on the team in tackles (64). Jeremy Pruitt’s got a budding star on his hands.

Jimari Butler is the only one it seems so far. Williamson tore his ACL early October too, so I think that's probably why he's not had much activity. The only other one I would speculate on (purely on my own thoughts) is James Robinson (OG) from Alabama, he is still out visiting. Also Javontez Spraggins (OC) from Illinois, he's still getting offers and if a guy like Tate Ratledge is back in the mix I could see the lower rated OL guys moving elsewhere.

Also the kid from TX Miller

So of the 18, I doubt you see a lot of "git shirts"

maybe 4 or so at the most...I don't think there's enough "flip" potential to push out more guys that want to be Vols. So we can/should be able to sign a full 25 and there's 6 or 7 spots still free so it's not like I expect a bunch of existing recruits to be swapped out.

Butler (already removed on Rivals) and then maybe 2 or 3 more guys at the most...really depends on who else the staff can snag. Tate Ratledge would be a huge flip, cause I doubt he wants to go to Arkansas to follow Pittman and I'm not sure he wants to stay at Georgia with a new OL coach he likely has no relationship with.

didn't realize Williamson tore his ACL, makes sense now, I don't see all the OL guys headed out but maybe one, aren't all the current OL commits kind've built toward being Guards and Ratledge is more of an OT isn't he?

Rumor has it UK coaches were crowing to recruits like Rybbka that Kentucky was going to a better bowl than Tennessee because they are now a more premier program. Fulmer and Pruitt were set to accept the MCB but got wind of this disrespect and decided to take UKs spot and put them back in their place.

Also look for Smalls to boom next. Per Basilio

Such nonsense. Both teams finished 7-5. We beat them. And went 5-3 in conference to their 3-5.

What a crock I get that Brent wasn't honored, he unfortunately didn't have a ton of points (PATs specifically). But York got robbed better FG% than Brent & Blankenship, and scored 137 points vs 119 for Blankenship & 93 for Brent.

Blankenship also went 1 of 3 in the South Carolina loss a game he could have potentially won for them twice. I guess they decided York missing those 4 PATs was enough reason to drop him below Blankenship.

Most good OL coaches will take HS OTs for every single spot though, because usually in HS the tackle is the best blocker on the team, and has the best size/strength. Every elite OT starts in college playing guard and earns their way to tackle, at least in a "perfect" situation that's how you're recruiting. Center is a different positions, so you take a high rated OC all day.

2020 class we have 2 OCs (Mays & Spraggins) and 2 OGs (Robinson & Miller). Cooper is the only 4 star, and the other 3 are rated .8680 or lower.

Georgia (Sam Pittman) for contrast
2020 class has 4 OTs (Jones, Tate, Lindberg, Braun) 1 5 star the rest 4 stars, lowest rating .9039 & 1 OC in Van Pran who is a 4 star .9495 rating.
