OMG, I can't believe you guys are letting a regular dentist pull your wisdom teeth. My brother is a retired dentist and his rule is:
For pulling teeth you go to an oral surgeon (mine is actually a doctor who is also a certified anesthesiologist so he safely puts you out)
For root canals you go to an endodontist.
For bridges, crowns and implants you go to a prosthodontist.

Look at it this way, I can take my Porsche (ok so it's true, my Porsche is a picture in a magazine but we deserve to dream don't we?) to my incredibly great mechanic who works on my other cars but he doesn't have any experience working on Porsches and may not have the appropriate diagnostic equipment or I can take it to a factory trained mechanic who works on nothing but Porsches.

Family full of dentists, your brothers rules are somewhat narrow minded.

The 25 commit limit was the best thing to happen to Bama.

Made it much harder to flip and build a roster. Had to do in small doses while losing guys every year.

Imagine if Pruitt could flip the roster in 2 years by signing 35 guys a class.
Bama was probably the ones responsible for getting it passed.

So no real point in going to just a dentist then? Got it. Canceled all future appointments.

Well, I kept 2, had one pulled by a dentist and pulled 1 myself because it started annoying me on a Friday. Wasn't rooted well apparently, because it hurt less than the local shot administered by the dentist.

Basically, a specialist is the only direction I haven't gone haha.

All this teeth and toenail talk, and now diagnosing illnesses. I need some helpful opinions. Can the resident witch doctors tell me is it normal to have "bronchitis" 4x in one year? Like literally every other month. I hadn't been told I had bronchitis in 20+ years, now four times since February? Its been a rough year for me with no clear answers. I'm not sure if it's me or Doc that's crazy

Weird.
My mother had it last month and now I do. I've had laryngitis almost a week at this point. Some other friends and family also. Never seen so many cases in a year.

Yeah its kind of been bothering me thinking about it. Havent been back to the office yet this time, as I'm a bit worried they will say "oh yeah, bronchitis". Which I guess is better than the alternative, but I cant shake this feeling of there may be something worse going on. I did at least have a fever this go around, but all my symptoms fade and go away within a week, but the cough and the (sorry for grotesque image) clear mucus stays for weeks....

Bama sucks. Go Vols!

You're gonna have to go tho. Are you positive you don't have chronic bronchitis and just having acute episodes? Dr say anything that might suggest it as a possibility?

Maybe one of our Drs will weigh in soon.

The last go they said I could be developing chronic bronchitis to which I asked is that just something that can happen to an otherwise healthy person. I'm 35, always been in good health for the most part. Really odd to have just came on so quickly, but I also developed allergies out of nowhere this past year as well to the point I had to be put on medication.

My issues pale compared to what you and some others have dealt with. Just frustrating to not have concrete answers I suppose, or a permanent fix. I tire of visits and more prescriptions.

Heck, it's all relative. I'm still a big baby when I get a bad cold, my wife would be more than happy to verify. But I developed seasonal allergies about 4 years ago and I'm not young.

I think sometimes there might be a direct cause but sometimes it "just happens", nothing you have done specifically. Either way, gonna have to get it checked out. I put stuff off also but you know if it were a family member, you would be scolding them for not going lol.

My grandad growing up use to make me drink Hot Toddy’s with Wild Turkey when I was sick..... 🤢🤮🤮

S**t works.although I use jack, its most effective if you drink it just before actually getting sick, even if you feel slightly different sore throat, running a fever (etc.) body aches. The same goes for drinking a glass of OJ just before you get sick to get your immunsystem levels up.props to you for drinking the hotty toddy with wild turkey though.thats rough🤭
