Anyone live in or close to Beaumont, TX? If so, what it's it like out there? Helping a friend of mine move out there.
Think south Louisiana. Last time I was at a beach in the Beaumont area, I stumbled into a hole. When I pulled my leg out it was covered in crude oil.

95% Petroleum based industry. Working middle class city. Grow where your planted type of city. I don’t think anyone sets out wanting to live in Beaumont. You were either born there or transferred to Beaumont in Petroleum industry.

Nut brown ale and Sotol. Sotol is different a little smoky tequila like.
Nice. I love a good tequila sipper. People think it's all about slamming shots of tequila to get hammered. But good tequila is like good bourbon. Made to sip neat and enjoyed. Have a buddy here in Austin who makes it. He has a real nice anejo. But I guess soto is more of a mezcal? Like a tequila version of a scotch?

Yes, it is similar. We need to flip that FL series. Unlike them though, we are capable of doing that. They will always be ky, a basketball school and thus they will never truly compete with us in football. We can and will flip that fl series. It's just a matter of time. Hopefully it begins soon. Had Pruitt been here all this time instead of the intern we would have beaten them several years in a row already

It is kind of crazy that even with two bad coaches in butch and Dooley. We beat them once and came really close several other times and it Also took miracles for them to win A few of those.

Had Don Julio for the first time recently and it was absolutely delicious.

Don Julio ain't bad. But you really can go down a rabbit hole of great tequilas to just sip on like you can with bourbon. It's just not as common.

Yep, I'm a total noob to tequila. I knew people sipped it like whiskey but never really knew what was good. The Don Julio tasted like buttery alcohol.
