Kid makes all the throws, even the tosses to the RB's in the flats which we have not got right in about 8 years. That's all anyone can ask at this point in his career. If your worried about arm strength (and I don't share your concern) take a look at Brees and Rivers, doing OK...

Going to dem orange britches at a critical juncture was great too. Not a gimmick, was in the traditional arsenal, but seemed to pump up the guys.

I didn’t mention Albright for the same reason I didn’t mention Bailey. Those 2 are automatic.

I think He will play LB. but think he could be more productive as a short yardage back.

IMO CFA will be in the portal as a graduate transfer and Banks will be back at ILB.

It's one thing to bring back a player a previous coach booted but quite another to bring back one you booted. Pruitt would have suspended him rather than show him the door if he had a chance to come back...

I think he's accurate and has touch. I don't think JG lacked for that as a recruit.

I am just talking about my impression of his arm strength. Someone else wanted to compare stats. To do that, you have to consider the guys around them.

I don’t know about it “as a recruit”, but JG has had issues at this level. Bailey gets docked for his high end targets and that’s the flip side of the other coin. Gilbert and White get it fed to them so they can maximize the yards after the catch...that’s not a given for average quarterbacks. If the quarterback can make all the the throws, I don’t give a flip if the crosshairs tattoo the the target. And some posters on this board have had the same never boring refrain going for quite some while about decision making...another strength I perceive in our new signee.
