I don’t know about it “as a recruit”, but JG has had issues at this level. Bailey gets docked for his high end targets and that’s the flip side of the other coin. Gilbert and White get it fed to them so they can maximize the yards after the catch...that’s not a given for average quarterbacks. If the quarterback can make all the the throws, I don’t give a flip if the crosshairs tattoo the the target.
If anyone watched Max Johnson play in the 4A game just before Bailey at 7A they would have noticed a distinct difference in passing skills....

Expound a little, please...since I didn’t see him.

It's one thing to bring back a player a previous coach booted but quite another to bring back one you booted. Pruitt would have suspended him rather than show him the door if he had a chance to come back...

He will be back and will play LB. We will need an inside guy with experience beside Toot.

I'm thinking he comes in refocused and blows up next year.

Max is a 4 star on a very good team with stud receivers. He has arm talent, presence, etc but was noticeably less accurate than HB. HB throws short flares, crossing, post, and outs all very well. You know you are watching an elite QB, not to say others can't be developed but he seems to already be there. Maybe he wasn't surrounded by 4 and 5* talent, perhaps he created the 4 and 5* talent around him...

Thought that’s where you were going but didn’t want to assume...thanks. Making the routine throw effortlessly is an underrated portion of an elite QB’s repertoire. Troy Aikman was an assassin using the elite weapons at his disposal. That’s why he’s in the HOF and Steve Buerlein isn’t.

Routine is a good word.
He plays tomorrow at 11 am on ESPN U if you can catch it...'

@Bassmaster_Vol my wife wanted a charcuterie board for her dinning room table. Bought a beautiful piece of live edge walnut and spent about 6 hrs sanding. Putting on some butchers block conditioner. This is the 2nd coat and will put on two more. With trimmings I will make cleats for it to raise up off the table.97FAD0FB-D8C3-4482-B7CF-E5C237D4BB79.jpeg

VQ says they have their eye on a mystery OL. Didn’t say his name. One person mentioned Broaderick Jones, 5 stah OT ga commit who did not sign 👀
Looking at the 247 timeline. Just shows activity with Auburn in 2019. But thanks for info. Definitely something to keep an eye on.
