RUNNING BACKS
This position is TBD as of now.
The primary name that has circulated, however, is Tennessee RB coach David Johnson. He was a former assistant under Norvell at Memphis and is regarded as a strong recruiter with ties to Louisiana and other areas in the Southeast. It’s worth noting that Johnson is compensated well at Tennessee ($500,000 annually) and is in a good position there, so this isn’t a guarantee for FSU...but the smoke connecting him to FSU isn’t going away.

Carlos Locklyn, aka Coach Meatball, has joined FSU as the Director Of High School Relations. It’s essentially the same role he had at Memphis under Norvell. He could be an option to move up to an on-field role depending on how things shake out with the rest of the staff.

One other name worth keeping an eye on is current tight ends coach Telly Lockette. He’s well suited to coach running backs given some of the players he developed when he was a prep coach in Miami (i.e. Dalvin Cook, Joseph Yearby). Plus he has deep South Florida ties as a recruiter, which could help Norvell build his connections within the state. It’s worth noting that Lockette’s contract runs through the end of January, so a new contract would need to be negotiated if he were retained.
Projection: Johnson
-Brendan Sonnone (FSU 247)

Just lucky to have the job I do, lol.
“Director of alcohol” for 16 liquor stores and 39 beer and wine stores.
Just scored another Pappy 20, have two now. Several george T stagg, William Larue, Elmer T Lee, birthday bourbon and other BTAC bottles.
I just donated a 2018 Bday Bourbon to a Christmas charity auction and it brought 5k for needy kids for Christmas.
Also might have one of my Pappy 20 yr sold for 2k to some sucker! Lol

Wow. Yours is an occupation to be envied.

A couple of buddies and I have been on the lookout for a bottle of Van Winkle for some time now, but it is as scarce as hen's teeth.

Tell them to quit trying so hard. It’s not overly good bourbon. Just highly coveted and hard to get. So many readily available options that are much better to drink. The only one I kind of like is the 12 year.
