This is an overlay of Total Defense (yards/play) with the rushing defense chart posted earlier. In 2009 we had Eric Berry in the back end of our defense so that is an outlier. In every other year the rushing defense has a dominating impact on the overall defense. That our defense achieved a national ranking of #26 in the nation this past season in terms of yards per play while in almost every contest being the youngest unit on the field is another harbinger for good times ahead. jmo.

I like this even better!

Love this tweet. Trolling all the 5 stars committing to the same usual schools.

If anything, he would of helped maintain a brand, not increase It. The big dogs are already on top of the mountain and they can’t climb any higher. It is pretty hard to stay on top also, anyone can have success but not everyone will be great.

Lol. It is a free market situation. The players are not forced to do anything. The colleges have a program for the kids to participate in if they desire. They do not have to participate. They can choose to do whatever they like. It's like any other profession. If you want to be an electrician, you have to apprentice for a while before you can be paid as a real electrician. If you don't want to be an apprentice, you don't have to be an electrician.
This is true. My son is doing the same work but making half the salary of an electrician while in the apprenticeship because he wants to get to the point where is making the money he deserves. They offer and he accepted.

Obviously your son thinks it's worth it to go through the program at a reduced pay scale to reap the benefits later.

I have a nephew from middle Tennessee that graduated with a music business degree. He's a musician but he realized that he wasn't likely gonna make a living playing guitar but he wanted to work in the industry so he chose the business degree. After graduating he went to work for a music licensing company. After a few months he realized that he and many of the other staff were doing all the work and the only ones making bank were the lawyers. What did he do? He went and got his law degree. He passed the bar just a couple of months ago.

I'm unable to watch, but I'm still keeping up with it. I really dont understand how they are so bad offensively. Right now they are lucky to be an NIT team.
Have no real scorers on the team. Very indisciplined right now. Jacking threes like cheap toys on black Friday. Can't hit the broad side. I don't know what's happened to Bowden. He can't throw it in the ocean.

I thought Bowden was going to have a big season this year. I went to the Memphis game and this team was missing open layups.
