Sitting here at Old Navy... pondering life

Since we're talking about getting lyrics wrong and in honor of @BassmasterVol and his love for Journey, in high school after practice "Open Arms" came on the radio and we all squealed like girls. Except one that looked at us like we were crazy. We asked why she didn't loooove the song. She said that it was stupid. Who would want somebody to come to you with broken arms?

I've got one. It was by England Dan and John Ford Coley "I'd really love to see you tonight". There's a verse that says ...

"I'm not talking about moving in
And I don't want to change your life"

I thought it was "I'm not talking about the linen and I don't want to change your life".

it says Linen.....!!!! It has to!!

Also

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad ??? WTH? I always just made up gibberish here
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

Haha, Dirty Deeds was my brother's album and I was 6 when I borrowed it .
But he had an unbelievable music library and as soon as I started listening, I was spending allowance on anything he didn't have.

Lodi was always one of my favorites. Guess I just liked the tune. Didn't understand why they were "stuck in an old tire again."

I really don’t want to go back to TBA for awhile. It was an entertaining game heading to an entertaining finish and the end was a duh because it became a ref shi show. It wasn’t that we lost. It was the way the game was taken out of the players hands and the refs became the game. It could’ve been some big and meaningful end of the game possessions but ended up being BORING.
Did you go?
