2015 had Tuttle, McKenzie, Phillips, Butcher, and Darrell Taylor. On paper that was awesome. McKenzie should have been an OG, Tuttle, Phillips, and Butcher careers were set back by injuries.

Great class, to be fair though McKenzie shouldn't have been so highly rated dude didn't even play his last season in HS...

3 of those 5 were great Vols too

True, my bad... thinking ahead to this next year since we are just concentrating on a few spots left for Beckwith, Wideman, etc... I am already looking at next year's class ...

It's pretty well established that our staff doesn't "hound" recruits though...Don't read too much into an off-hand comment that a 17 year old makes while also saying there's a "connection" with the guys recruiting him.

I do strength training 7-10 hours a week and get over 10,000 steps a day without cardio. I don’t think I qualify as physically lazy

I know old news, but man, Rocker needs to move away from recruiting or just hit the door. We are trending and this program is on the rise through a lot of hard work from the coaches and players...
We simply can't afford to have a weak link in recruiting right now, especially one that is tasked with DT's... maybe he is tired, or maybe his heart isn't in it, but right now it is more important than ever that we are maximizing every body we have on staff with recruiting.
We are now getting the attention of elite, high-tier talent, and I won't accept hearing we didn't get a kid because we barely spoke with him... if it is for other reasons, and they felt better with another school, then okay, but kids saying we weren't in contact enough is pathetic.

I like Rocker. Hope we find a way to keep him coaching. Let someone else do the talking. If a kid asks where Rocker is, just tell them he's busy turning our DL into an elite, NFL ready D Line.
