FYI. This may have already been stated in this forum, but out of the starters for last nights Super Bowl game 11 were 2 stars or less and 6 were no stars coming out of high school. Over a third of the starters were less than 2 stars. 4 players were 5 stars and the rest were 3 and 4 stars.

I still think stars matter in recruiting, but thought it was interesting.

Truly great players find their way no matter what.

What if instead of stars, the best players were given...... wait for it..... footballs! The better a recruit, the more footballs they are awarded. We could set up camps that the players could pay to come to and have us evaluate them. If they don't want to come to our camp, we can just give them a basic 2 football rating and get around to evaluating their film later/never. Then to make it even better, we can have a website where we can charge people a monthly fee to hear our "expert" analysis on why this high school kid is worth five footballs and that one is only worth three. It's fool proof!

I think it would be even better if these were real footballs and the prospect had to carry them and get photographed with them so everyone would know how good they are. Also, I think carting five footballs around would make these guys a lot less likely to make needless visits.

That’s a negative from me. Worked real close for 15+years only thing I’d order from there is a deli sandwich. Large portions but just got to greasy.
