Shh, don’t bring anything up about Florida or Jaws on this thread unless it involves Evans.

Latest I’m hearing is that it still appears to be a two-team race for Evans; Tennessee and Ole Miss. But there is still a little smoke about Evans possibly visiting Florida after the dead period, some time in March. I’ve also read that he will NOT announce anything on Thursday.

Evans to Florida remains a very long shot for many reasons, including that Florida now has interest in former 5* RB and Penn State transfer Ricky Slade. If UF lands Slade after already landing Lingard, no way they entertain Evans in my opinion.
I heard Tennessee finished with a better recruiting class than Florida.

Did you “hear” all that from the tweet posted in his thread earlier?

That’s the only way Mullen can recruit- by taking transfers.

He’s got back to back top 8 classes without counting transfers.

You wouldn’t be thrilled if your team landed five 5* recruits via the transfer portal? The transfer portal has become a type of recruiting unto itself.

Appears so in Rivals, although Florida has two more possible 4* commits waiting on test scores; Marc Britt and Leonard Manuel. If they can get admitted, UF will sign them. If not, I assume the spots will remain open.

Last I checked 247 and ESPN, Florida was ranked higher. Regardless, I think UF and UT both had great classes. Congrats!

I missed the tweet posted, sorry about that. I did read it on twitter and a Gator message board. Apologize for the redundancy if it’s already been posted.

No offense, but you probably should find another forum. That class from last year ain’t number 8 anymore, so keep dreaming. It’s why Mullen wasn’t a good fit for UT. Not a big time recruiter. Goofy as hell.
