I find waffles to be amoral. They are outside the scope of morality. But eating pancakes falls under Kant's categorical imperative, so they are essentially required by deontological ethics.

I used to think so.
But then I reached the 3rd grade and realized that there were no rule based ethics for my pancake consumption and ate biscuits that year instead.

I have no doubt this is the first reference to Immanuel Kant to ever appear on a sports forum board. My compliments. Bonus points for it being in reference to pancakes versus waffles, both of which are off my diet since being tested positive for celiac disease, thereby causing me to doubt my existence, i.e. "I eat pancakes therefore I am."
