Haha yep. And it was basically like 5 breeds for thousands of years then in the 1800s people realized you can make almost unlimited different breeds. In Russia they've been experimenting with breeding wild foxes that show that trait of affection toward humans and in just a couple generations they're basically dogs. The interesting thing is, in just breeding for that one behavior trait, those domestic foxes started having more white patches in their fur and more of a curved tail. Which is similar to what happens breeding hogs into domestic pigs.
That’s super interesting about the fox. Happens to a lot of animals when domisticated. Orca whales and dolphins for example

I had 3 mice in my garage last year. Neighbors constantly have animals outside, so they set up shop in my garage and feasted on some old bird seed.

Don’t tell PETA, but if you know their entrance points or travel routes, use those sticky traps. Not those POS paper ones that exterminators use. Get those plastic glue traps. Think the brand is Tomcat? Sticky as heck, and they can’t chew through them to get loose. Pretty cheap at Rural King or Wal Mart.

Mouse problem was fixed in a couple days.

I'll leave that mostly unsaid but let's just say it was removed from my house immediately. I'm not proud of who I used to be and some of the people I knew at the time but it also freaked me out to have it anywhere near my home.

I may or may not have received a sizeable donation at a later date that started me on my way to turning my life around, though I do feel guilty years later for not just calling the cops.
Wow..the two keys of uncut coke alone were worth 10-15 grand apiece depending..and way more than that cut and pieced out. 😲

@engineerVOL Have you watched the movie Mouse Hunt? I am thinking this may be you soon if you don't get a cat soon. Wait, the cat didn't work in that movie.

No but did read the wiki..

“....The brothers purchase a psychotic cat named "Catzilla," whom the mouse leads on a destructive rampage and into a dumbwaiter to the cat's demise. An eccentric exterminatornamed Caesar (Christopher Walken) is hired, but the mouse attaches him to the winch of his own truck and violently drags him out of the house....”

What’n tarnation, SaS.

Guess I should post some pics in memoriam! Don’t let her size and chill-ness fool you! She was feisty in her youth! We had this sliding glass door out back, and her idea of “knocking” was to jump up and bound off of it, leaving paw prints no joke about 6ft high on the glass while doing pretty much a backflip to the landing! Hold a treat at your head, and she’d double jump off of your body and snatch it out of the air! She’d do it 3-4-5+ times in a row. So much energy and so much fun as a kid!

Anyone else just not an animal person?
I think @nicksjuzunk has the same sentiment. He lived a long time in Thailand and probably has eaten more dogs than posted in the thread today. He loves dogs but just the way they taste.
@Bassmaster_Vol was so horrified by this revelation he relapsed from his diet and promptly consumed three thick crust pizzas.

With all the staff changes, Tennessee has shifted many of its recruiting territories within the staff. Joe Osovet is now responsible for much of the northeast, as well as Maryland and some in Ohio. Chris Weinke remains the point-man in Charlotte, but Graham will have a heavy presence in both North Carolina and Virginia. Felton, a former head coach in Lee County (Ga.), will work Atlanta and South Georgia. Tennessee will also shift some responsibilities in-state, as Brian Niedermeyer will have a bigger role recruiting the Volunteer State — both in Memphis and Chattanooga. Tee Martin will take over many of the schools that David Johnson had in Memphis, with Niedermeyer and Derrick Ansley chipping in. Martin will remain heavily involved in Nashville, too.

Elsewhere, Tennessee still has an open position to fill with its player personnel director, but look for Danny Stiff to potentially earn a promotion after Drew Hughes left for South Carolina. Stiff was Hughes’ right hand man and the current assistant director of player personnel. A tape grinder, Stiff is someone Pruitt respects immensely and knows really well, too — as Danny is a former Alabama native who won multiple state championships as a player at Hoover High school. The Vols are likely to promote Stiff and then hire someone for his position.

I actually love animals. Grew up with a bunch of dogs. Posted my Thai dog a few pages back.
