I think worse case they start with no fans in the stadiums and/or set a limit per venue... not sure how they'd do it, but I think it would work... I think the economy will be rolling by the first of June.

I heard on radio that college relies more on donation/ticket sales and would want to play with fans. The NFL makes more on tv revenue, so they can make it work without fans.

Me and several people close to me and some crap in late January that seemed like the worst sinus infection I've ever had. I tried to go to the gym and couldn't breathe. Was short of breath for almost 2 weeks. Even missed work over it and I never miss work. I haven't been tested, but it makes me wonder.
Tests in Boston & NYC yielded 70% antibodies of respondents. Ill try to dig it up.

My family had a flu negative bug in early January that lasted about that length of time as well. Wife's was rough, mine was meh, kids walked through it (played basketball, etc.). Can't wait till us military/government folks get our mandated vaccination.

i like Bennett’s motor and craftiness but i don’t think he has the measurements to be the player DT was.

Baron has them, but he played stiff and lazy to me on his tape which could be irrelevant and hopefully our staff gets it out of him. He may have just been bored with High school. It happens a lot.

It’s gonna be interesting to see our 2 LBs in our sub sets. Obviously Henry T. I like crouch better playing edge but like Bennet he doesn’t really have the measurables to be a top level edge player.

This is just gonna be one of those years where we have to get creative to create pressure more often. I don’t think we will be able to drop 7 very much and get home. I love the way Alontae blitzes and our staff loves blitzing out of the nickel
Say "measurables" one more time..🤬

You know who else didn't have great measurables?...Derrick f'n Barnett. Heart and want too are far greater attributes than arm length.

I wonder if they could do some sort of mandate of "half capacity" type situation with fans depending on the venue... So say Neyland has 100,000, they are allowed 50,000, say Ole Miss is like at 65,000 so they could only have 32-33,000.... and so on....

i think there's some unknowns still too....and you never now how they might affect a guy like Bennet...one would think they would help. you get Roman Harrison playing more, you get gooden back on the DL....the ILB's are really good....well, at least one for sure.....the other should be......and you have a guy like KB, who did pick it up 2nd half of hte season last year.....so how does he continue to build on that? he's already show ability. does consistency come next? maybe, especially with some of hte personnel that will be playing around him...in theory, should free him up a bit.

as to your point on the blitzing and creativity.... i really don't think that's gonna be an issue. they've more than proven to me that they know how to scheme up a defensive pressure lol.......and with so many now entering year 3....i would think it shouldn't take a step back any time soon........

He’s so concerned with Tennessee that vital portions of his brain aren’t functioning.
I feel somewhat guilty that I look at the daily statistics and hope for large increase in Kentucky casualties, which actually has been the case. Beshear should be embarrassed by his earlier remark, but I doubt he is. I strongly suspect he ordered a low number of testing in his state so he can have a low number of total cases which improves KYs ranking among other states. But their death count has been growing rapidly. I guess he can't fake those numbers.

Talk about off market demand for some games...

I currently live and work in DC but my wife and kids live and go to school in North Carolina so I know what you are talking about. Anyways, Travel etc, is going to open up in June. I’m sure some small stuff will happen in May but the vast majority will be June.
Saw this morning where Nascar has stated the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte can take place end of May but with no fans. Love that track but I doubt Nascar will run any major race without fans. I think that sport is in bit trouble and was before the bug hit.

they've been running races w/out fans for several years now......................................................

It is sooo freakin stupid at this point.
If I were in charge there wouldn't be any phases. I would open it back up right now. I'd tell people to use common sense and practice good hygiene and trust them to do it. I'd tell sports teams to start now. I'd tell schools, restaurants, everything to open back up. Id caution the seniors and those with compromises to be careful, and to stay at home if they feel they need to. If you're under 65, get out, and get back to work. We need to develop herd immunity and the facts show that this virus doesn't harm many below the age of 65. We need to act in accordance to the data and that is what the data is showing. To keep locked down is just going to damage our country further and cause much more death than the virus will.

Some people will get it, the vast majority will be absolutely fine. Then we'll develop the herd immunity and we can get on with our lives. This thing is not the Black Plague, its not the Spanish flu. We'll be fine. We need to stop living like cowards. We need to live. By September a vaccine will be created, or sometime soon after, and those who are afraid can get the vaccine if they want to. Period. End of story. Its time to open back up completely.

So long schools with small fan bases.

This is where the VolTwitter legion pays off.
I really hope we have a great pre-planned cheating program for this...I mean it is just going to be too freakin easy with this, and I hope we do it better than anybody.

Sick of losing.

Running a couple of Darlington races first. Like mentioned earlier with the NFL, they probably get more money from TV than ticket sales.

I’ll be excited to see any type of live sports.
