I really think some of this is because of how Kirby plays the game. Lying to the Mays family. UGA players outta control. Pickens getting into fights during games. Kids are seeing through his **** and coaches are steering kids away from UGA. Tennesee is the benefactor and we going to be good. Imo that's kinda what Atlanta Vol was referring to when he said Kirby hasn't been able to reach kids the way he used to imo.
For Florida well F them who wants to be a damn gator
And thats where the rabid fan base pays off. Embarrassing at times but when it counts shewwww theres nobody better. It sounds so silly, but i remember being 17, if a fanbase could get me trending (not even a 5 star or #1 in my state btw) on twitter id be blown away.Cody Brown is trending in the United States. Wow
Sounds crazy but with the new NCAA rule on players profiting off of themselves you have to think we are one of the teams that will benefit the most. I know Twitter can be a crazy place but we truly have the biggest most active vocal fan base on the platform. Just look. Any and everything a recruit/coach/program/school says good or bad about us the mentions in the comment sections are all orange every single time. You have to think that our fan base will be a huge player in jersey sales appearances marketing promoting our players whatever it may be. I really don’t see any school that comes close. Especially outside the SEC.
Agreed. Crazy that an increase in discipline actually brought them together instead of players falling on helmets and grab assin through workouts. Also is it just me or does it look like our ENTIRE team is as together and close as ever? Every single commit is like a welcoming committee of current/former players/ current recruits. I hope these guys are as tight a team in the country.
Random thought I had recently while watching the NFL draft. College programs should get "compensatory" signing slots for players that transfer, as long as it doesn't put you over the 85. So basically, if a scholarship player transfers, you get that counter spot back. I just thought it would be interesting, and would help programs maintain their rosters. I'm sure there are drawbacks I'm not considering tho.
Must be an Oregon troll. They love us. They played Rocky Top against Kiffin and USC up a millionView attachment 276130
Even the Oregon insiders and writers are mad. All of CFB knows we’re on the way back and they’re not ready
Really good idea. The problem, I would imagine, is about half of transfers (or more) aren’t the kids’ choice. So doing that would give coaches more reason to run underperforming players off.Random thought I had recently while watching the NFL draft. I’ve thought Neids has been really pounding how school promotes their kids for months and months on His twitter account. I’d be shocked if we aren’t telling these kids our PR department is loaded for bear to help our kids make as much $ as possible on their likeness and showing them the plan for when this stuff all gets set. That’s the way I have took his tweets for months
This is one such tweet
With the way the landscape of CFB is changing, I'm not sure that would be a bad thing. If kids can make money, is it wrong to expect them to perform?Really good idea.
