Rutgers is interesting. My brother was a 4 year starter at Boston College back in the Big East era. I have seen a lot of games at Rutgers. There are some legit D1 players between Boston and WDC. I think a lot get overlooked in deference to any dude from Birmingham. Rutgers could be legit if Schiano can be discerning in recruiting. Notre Dame pretty much gets anyone and everyone they want up there.

Remember when a certain college program would be ahead of the game in a certain area of recruiting, conditioning, etc.? Something you'd see on a 30 for 30.

How they would be on top of college football for an era? This is what is happening under Pruitt. There's going to be documentaries on how Pruitt built a social media sports influencer dreadnought.

They haven’t been inside the top 40 in recruiting in a decade and he has them higher than ever before. That program is rock bottom and if he finishes top 40 this class that’s a miracle

NJ has a ton of talent so top 40 wouldn’t be that impressive to me. Sure they’re at the bottom right now, but the whole reason they hired him is because he’s supposedly a legend in that state. He should be able to sell that hope and dream message easily. Right now it looks pretty meh. He better hope he wins or that message will get stale fast.

His pathetic performance at OSU as DC doesn’t give me much confidence

Yeah would’ve been a horrible fit here and he’s not the type of guy our players would’ve responded to. Doubt the rutgers players will for long. Maybe a year or two but he’s a nasty guy

I know that area has talent but all
I know to do is to look at the history of the recruiting at that place and it’s outside the top 60 much more than not. He deserves at least some praise to this point
