Okay greatest thing about all this pandemic crap. Got fajitas and margaritas from my favorite Mexican restaurant ( Uncle Julio’s).
Ordered the margaritas to go and they gave me a friggin bottle of nice tequila with enough mix to make many many margaritas. Great fajitas too!

I may or may not have had multiple margaritas at this point.

Given all the talk about the shooting/murder video, don’t break into my house tonight. I will stab you, then repair the stab wound. Get pissed, cause I am still sauced on tequila, stab you again, then realize that I shouldn’t have stabbed you twice. And repair the second stab wound. Then knock your ass out and call the police...as any civic minded physician would do.

I will still have the same job, but it won’t be like before March. It doesn’t matter who is in my job. My business is very interactive with people, files were normally exchanged, paperwork shared, and hundreds of people congregating together. Change is coming. No other way around it. People just think everything can go back the way it was, and that’s not true.

Sounds like a very inefficient clusterfunk of a way to do your job, in a legal system already plagued by gross inefficiency.

Dear diary,

24 hours without a new commit. The inmates have started discussing guns and laws again. One of the inmates has begun listing and implementing rules. I pray we get a commit soon or the inmates may start eating each other.

P.S. one of the inmates speaks of eating feces. God help us all.

I laughed at this and then thought about it and this place really does go to shite as soon as we have 24 hours without any Vols news.

I havent seen the video. And I wont. Pulling a gun on the street, aiming, and pulling trigger (to kill); is a choice. Any prosecutor would have a field day with that.

Easy to establish intent to harm, beyond reasonable doubt. At very least, aggravated assault or manslaughter.

Also, people who posted such a video should be flogged and do 12 Hail Mary's.

I saw the uncensored video and while it's not particularly graphic because of the distance and quality, it's highly disturbing. They committed murder plain as day.

Kind of difficult for three parties to execute legal documents without multiple people handling them. It’s also only fair for prosecutors to review their files for actual evidence in the case. Oh yea, and jurors normally sit less than 6 feet apart, otherwise, it’s a big jury box. All that on top of 200+ cases on a daily docket in some courtrooms.

ill defer. as for the banter of people bragging that they dont fear repercussions of breaking the law, I sincerely feel for them, to lose that association.

I’m not sure how you jumped to that conclusion. I guess people don’t realize how some places operate. All I’m telling you is that it will change. I have done this for almost 15 years- generally, the same way. It’s not going back to that way, at least for a while.

I get that, but why attack an armed man when there were other options? Both sides acted stupidly. Had they shot him as he was running by I'd be completely on board charging them with murder. He wasnt shot until he attacked the guy with the shotgun. That makes this whole case very complicated. Not sure what they should be charged with but feel like they deserve some charge.

Would you have rather he run away and get shot in the back? He was in fight or flight mode. Those 3 men could have taken him into custody. Instead they were cowards and tried intimidation with guns only it didn’t go as planned and he was senselessly shot.
