I'm no Dr but I think there is a link between blood sugar levels and cholesterol. My cholesterol has never been bad, actually really good but my blood glucose levels were pre-diabetic. My doctor wanted to start me on meds and I refused, said I would control with diet. That's when I started a very low carb diet. Low carb diets typically mean you have have to eat more meat than before to offset some of the missing carbs. As I said before, I lost 40lbs which is good but with the increased meat (No I can't do just chicken and fish, I'm not a communist ), I was worried about my cholesterol. So I had a physical back in February and I asked the doctor about my cholesterol levels and he said they weren't bad the last time but even lower this time.Dr. story time. So I go get blood work done twice a year and I've always had high Cholesterol across the board. My Dr always, always, always tries to put me on a statin drug and I always refuse. Fast forward to about 2 years ago when I went to an all meat diet, my Cholesterol went through the roof, he started to really act concerned at this point, again I refused to take a statin. My last checkup was in early March and he FINALLY asked if anything about my diet has changed. Duh... When I told him about my all meat diet for about 2 years he got super pissed and demanded that I go on a statin and change my diet back. I refused as usual so he said ok then a**hole I want you to go take a coronary calcium test. Here's where it gets good.
I agreed to take his little test but only if he accepted a bet. He is a UT grad and we always talk about the Vols during my appointments. The bet was that if my test came back fine that he had to give me tickets to a game this year. If he won I'd go on the Statin and change my diet back. I go take this test Monday at the freaking hospital during the CoViD-19 pAnDeMiC, was like trying to get into Fort Knox by the way.
His nurse called me yesterday annnnnnd…………………….
Perfectly normal coronary calcium test and no build up around my heart at all. I told her to put his butt on the phone because we had some business to take care of. She lolled at me and said that he told her to let me know he was working from home for awhile.
He's coming off those tickets one way or the other....
1. He doesnt make the decision on that.Just heard on the sports animal that the leader of the covid 19 taskforce for UT said there will be no fans in Neyland Stadium this year. I just can't even began to invision Neyland not having fans. An atmosphere would be non existent.
Ultimately, at this point Tennessee isn’t going to turn down a player high on its board. Even at positions where they appear to be full, if a top player calls then Tennessee is picking up the phone. It’ll let the numbers work themselves out. Could there be tricky roads to navigate down the line? Sure, but with a record number of prospects committing so early this cycle due to COVID-19, many expect a record number of decommitments later this fall, too. So the Vols are loading up with as many good players as they can
Looks like fermented orange juice so I’m guessing he digs itGot to be @Big Gucci Sosa approved. View attachment 277324
You Are 100% correctI'm no Dr but I think there is a link between blood sugar levels and cholesterol. What they’re going to do is get your money then decide if and when you get it back.Question.....so the rumor on this board is no fans this fall, UT has sent their ticket request out early this year.
Has UT issued a statement about reimbursement plans (if needed)?
So do we really think there won’t be fans?... it’s May and September is a long way off. I think it is silly to assume what September will be like in May.What they’re going to do is get your money then decide if and when you get it back.
My bet is they’ll have everyone buy tickets as normal. Then when it is decided we’re going to have games without fans, we’ll all get an email saying “we’re disappointed about this year. But if you do not get a refund, your tickets will be good next year!” yada yada yada
I tend to assume we pulled the plug on social distancing too quickly and we’re going to get a huge second wave of this thing in a few weeks. So do we really think there won’t be fans?... it’s May and September is a long way off. I think it is silly to assume what September will be like in May.
