I’m celebrating Mother’s Day by rewatching the uscjr slaughter.

I know he got benched and wasn’t terribly effective but I’m still impressed a little everytime I watch JT Shrout.

He seems exactly like the kind of QB who needs to develop for 2-3 years but then becomes an effective QB.

Last can the historic linebacker class talks when say Oregon had two 5 star lbs last class and more.

I’m talking historic for us. Of course you go back in time you could find better ranking LB classes. Oregon’s last year was pretty incredible. They got the top 2 ILBs who were top 10 in the nation and a 4* that was not nationally ranked by rivals.

But think about this if we get Mondon and Colson we will have (All by Rivals Rankings):

Terrence Lewis #1 ILB #19 Overall
Aaron Willis #4 ILB #68 Overall
Junior Colson #4 OLB #80 Overall
Smael Mondon #5 OLB #82 Overall

Lewis is a 5* on 247 and his rating right now on Rivals at the end of the year would be 5* and Mondon is a 5* on 247.

This class obviously does not have 2 Top 10 recruits in the nation but 4 guys all in the Top 100, 1 that is #1 at their position and the rest are top 5 at their position. Overall this is better than Oregon’s class from last year.
