Was talking about this in a meeting today. Who’s the player that you whiffed on the most? Either as a recruit thinking he’d be great here. Or thought he would be great in the nfl and wasn’t.

Couple for me. My first year with Kiffin...Brandon Warren thought Even tho he was undersized thought he Would be a serious weapon here.

Brent Vinson. Easily the best pure athletes we had. Could do between the legs dunk off an oop. Never was committed and should’ve played WR.

Marquez North. I was positive he would tear it up here and in the NFL. I still think Butch had a lot to do with his bust, but I missed pretty bad on him.

I thought Brian Darden coming in would be the next NFL running back from UT.

On defense, I totally bought into the Chris Donald hype.

The thing that ends it for me is you NEVER hear of a sports talking head who’s seen MJ play and the current players who doesn’t say MJ is the best...period. There are some young pups who say otherwise but none of them saw MJ play in his day.

For the NFL, if you're only talking Vols, I have to say Heath Shuler. I really thought he was going to be great, although you can blame part of that on injury. If you're talking anyone, I'd say Tony Mandarich, an OT who was taken with #2 pick by Packers out of Michigan State. He was even on cover of Sports Illustrated. Steroid testing killed him.

It's better than arguing about Corona, that crap gets too real, and I really do get very emotional about it...

But..it is really all ESPNs fault..they are the ones that released a 10 hour documentary about Michael Jordan just when everybody had nothing else to do...🤷‍♂️













You know what we will never see? A 10 hour documentary on LeBron.

Way too many to narrow down, but probably one of Darden, Donald and Vinson...maybe throw Richmond in there.

Hey you are on to something. Imagine how cool that would look. With orange masks and gloves, you could really make it look solid orange. Imagine making it mandatory for admission and making the Florida and Alabama fans wear it or else be ejected from the stadium. (I know, I know, some of you are going to yell constitutional rights and here, since UT is a state school, you could win the argument.) But it sure would look great.
