i think some of it depends on what kind of options the kid getting the git has. they have no real need to cut anyone loose at the moment, so i could see them having some of that communication, some may have already had it, and they'll decommit at their convenience...

either way, it won't ever come out publically that UT processed a kid. even though everyone will know what happened. it'll at least look like the kid called the shot on the surface.
