Make the money right as the success happens and CJP will stay on the hill making his own legacy just like Dabo did on the other side of the mountain.

Ask Rick Barnes. Even UCLA was not enough of a draw and UT had no real legacy and tradition to counter with in basketball. Not even one FF in all those years. Yet, they made the money right and gave him what he needed to build it right here. CJP has the real tradition to sell in football with the past Vol NC's, the General, and Uncle Phil down the hall. He's in for the long haul.

Stole this from VQ who got it from a poster on the ga rivals board. I like it a lot.

“Was on the (athletic) staff in 2014 when we squibbed against Ga Tech. The headsets had one channel for offense, one for defense and Richt would flip between the channels to hear the calls on both sides. After the squib, Richt flipped over to the defensive channel and Pruitt absolutely lit into him. Never heard an assistant talk to a HC like that. We had basically just cost ourselves a shot at an Orange Bowl. That team was way too good to be playing in the Belk bowl. Richt was a great guy to work for as you could imagine, Pruitt was much tougher to work for. But there is no denying that 1. He was right, it was very dumb to squib and 2. Pruitt re-energized the program where Richt had lost his energy. Say what you want about Pruitt, but he is an elite recruiter and relates to any kid easily. It's why Tennessee will be a bigger threat in the coming years than Florida.”

There’s a small handful of posters on 247 who also have very good inside information. One of whom I’ve had the opportunity to meet at a tailgate. I am definitely one of the more sarcastic posters you’ll see once I let lose a little. And I’m sure that’ll get me in trouble at some point lol
