It’s embarrassing how worried they are about lowly old Tennessee
They should be more worried about figuring out how not to choke in big games
yooo you hiring?I start guys with ZERO experience at $15/hr. If they put any sort of resemblance of effort that number goes up in a hurry. Most of my guys with any sort of skill make $25/hr+. Up to $35+ for crane operators.
This is Construction work in the South, no unions. If you are willing to work, and don’t wast it all on hookers and cocaine, there is no reason not to have some money. Nobody is lined up at my door asking for jobs. I have to go find them.
Not self promotion
This will always go down as one of my favorite memories.
A friend scheduled his wedding for that day. There were a bunch of Georgia fans there including the groom. Not supper annoying fans. Just the type that are invested just enough to make it fun/irksome but will be the same the next day win or lose. And there was one Tennessee fan with me who was part of the wedding party.
During the reception while waiting for the meal, I started streaming the game on my phone with my Tennessee friend. A few Georgia fans were at another table streaming the game.
When Eason threw his TD, one of the girls ran over to our table and playfully taunted us.
Dejected, I let the stream continue on my phone but didn't pay it much attention.
Well, it turns out our mobile streaming must have been behind because the ESPN banner popped up with the Final score and Tennessee winning.
I said "I don't know what's about to happen but we NEED to watch!" I slid the phone to other side of the table where my friend was, got up and ran around to it and we both watched Dobbs drop back. The rest will be forever Vol legend and lore.
We were so excited we started running in circles around the Georgia table jumping up and down singing Rocky Top. The DJ who had been playing some background music quickly picked up what was happening and put on Rocky Top (he was seriously on top of that).
Best wedding ever. I think it may even top mine if I ever have one.
Damn, sorry to hear that. Did they put his toe back on or leave it off? My brother cut his thumb off on a band saw and he told the doctor he didn't want it put back on. Just had a nub on his hand but he learned how to make it work.Well, speaking of Kevin Mays...
My 4YO tried his best impression and severed his toe this afternoon on a toy box lid. Sent him to the ER, broke two toes too.Tough lad, much tougher than me.

So....cocaine and hookers aren't part of the benefit package?? What a rip!I start guys with ZERO experience at $15/hr. If they put any sort of resemblance of effort that number goes up in a hurry. Most of my guys with any sort of skill make $25/hr+. Up to $35+ for crane operators.

Really good point. If he keeps it up at Oregon, he sure will be. You're right, he's a hell of a recruiter. They are going to be legit the next couple years with that talent in the PAC.I am surprised Mario Cristobal's name is never mentioned as a potential Saban replacement. Although he wasn't a coordinator there he was an elite recruiter (National Recruiter of the Year in 2016) and Oregon was very good last season.
