Thoughts on 24-team hockey playoff just announced? @volatil

IMO, just make it one huge slaughter fest. 24 teams. 12 pucks. 1 game. Each team is eliminated when 3 goals are scored on them. No timeouts (called or by penalty). May God have mercy on the refs for having to "ref" that game.

Only way to get all Canadian teams in. Who knows how this plays out with these guys not skating forever. Scrub team like Chicago (@SergeantVol ) probably win this thing.

I made a comment on lady vols thread about Sarah Puckett only shooting 30 % from 3 and got attacked w "don't watch" comments. Seriously...some of you sunshine pumpers have mental problems. The only acceptable response when we have a new recruit is they are the best ever...and everything Vols do is the best in the world. 2 star? Should be a 5 star and its just espn hate. Did I miss the last decade of us winning nattys every single year and every sport? Jeez. How about REAL discussion instead of this "Vols are #1 at everything and you're a hater if you think otherwise" crap.

You do understand that 30% 3 point shooters in women's high school basketball is actually not terrible, right?

If they can shoot 33% they are considered really good.

Basically saying Smael has told him he is a VOL. While I am usually giddy for information like this, if the kid hasn’t committed yet, don’t toss his ish out there like that. It’s one thing to be discreet about it, but nothing about that photo is discreet.

My dad was in the military. I lived there the first year of my life. Didn't remember anything, of course. So, I dropped by there in March, just to see it, but didn't have time for fishing, unfortunately.

Blue collar sport- the players are very down to earth people. Most of the players don’t look at themselves as celebrities like many other pro athletes do. Honestly most people don’t recognize hockey players out in public. They just want to play. Not too many spoiled b*tches in the hockey world like there are in other sports.
