Weirdest thing...a Bald Eagle flew really low over my van from behind a few weeks ago driving up to Harlan from Pineville on Hwy 119..

It had a whole flock of crows, like 10-15 of them swooping down at him and pestering him, and trying to drive him away, as he was swerving through the trees back and forth across the road in front of me trying to evade them.

I had the strangest feeling as I watched it, and afterwards that surreal feeling just stuck with me...like it meant something.

This was before the riots but during the lockdown.
I wouldn't look to much into that as a sign. It happens literally all the time.

All the big birds hate each other. Turkeys, Eagles, Crows, Hawks, Etc...

I witnessed 6 crows kill an owl one time when I was deer hunting. They dive bombed it right in front of me, then pinned it down and killed it. Crows specifically are very aggressive and smart animals.

Also that's why people use Owl hoots to convince turkeys to gobble. You hoot and the turkey basically says bring it on buddy.

While it is metaphoric for our current country, it's truly just a part of nature and has been taking place here long before we ever showed up.

I can't remember who transferred in 2017, but 2018-2020 transfers in would be 3 blumechips and 4 non. 43%.
I think this stat is misleading. You can't count the 2018 grad transfers as they are now gone, and you can't count Miles Jones or Kasim Hill as they are walkons. With that said, I'm not sure who the other three non blue chip transfers are.

Gains/losses from our current calculated Blue Chip Ratio (the way they calculate it) we have:

Gained: 75% Blue Chip Ratio
- Cade Mays 5*
- Aubry Solomon 5*
- Deangelo Gibbs 4*
- Velus Jones 3*

Lost: 30% Blue Chip Ratio
- Maliek Gray 4*
- Ryan Johnson 4*
- Will Ignont 4*
- Marcus Tatum 3*
- Shannon Reid 3*
- Terrell Bailey 3*
- Will McBride 3*
- Latrell Williams 3*
- Jordan Murphy 3*
- Jerrod Means 3*

BCR doesn't count who leaves, only additions (non-transfers). If it included attrition, the mark would be higher anyway, maybe 60%. But I was just saying hypothetically, if we included transfers it would only minorly budge our % right now. The 3 blue chips, using most updated ratings, are Mays (96), Solomon (95) and Chryst (97.5) *before they had transfer ratings.

And Gibbs... If you are going to include attrition one way you must also look at who leaves. If you factor in who has left, our % is increased significantly. This wouldn't matter for the Clemsons, UGAs and Alabama's of the world as they aren't trying to get there and turnover classes like our 2017 class. They also don't have the 3 stars to turnover like we do. The inclusion of transfers/attrition would effect our % drastically more than one else on that list as we are playing catch up.

Either way, we are making progress. Winning is the only solution to getting this number up, and I truly believe we are making progress in the right direction.

Gibbs's transfer rating was as an 87 3*. Along with Kennedy, London, and VJJ. 3 blue chip transfers, 4 non blue chips.

Well, we can't use their transfer rating because it is going to be low if they are transferring to Tennessee. (JK I know what you are saying.)

Looks like his practice is picking back up, don’t know if that’s a good thing or not.
Injuries happen regardless of viral pandemics. Not being able to see folks as quickly or get diagnostic testing done means most are worse when I am now able to see them. The period of time when I couldn’t do “elective procedures “ caused many to suffer.

I got to play golf with my son once a week which was great!

This is the list we have to be on in order to win the SEC East. Until then, we WILL finish behind Florida and Georgia. In two or three more years we will be contenders assuming Pruitt keeps recruiting well.

Strange to see UF that high since UT has recruited pretty much right with UF lately. They're always a couple spots within eachother if I'm not mistaken

That’s great you have some down time away from everything you have to face day to day, especially, when you can with your son and family.
