Good to hear. Safe to say we're all feeling it in some manner?I haven't been on here very much in the past 3-4 months, only to see where we stand on recruits. After 7 years my position at my company was "eliminated" at the end of February right when all the Covid chaos started (out of the blue with no warning)... been stressed to the max out trying to find a job in the specialized industry I'm in, two kids in college, and all I heard was "sorry, we'd love to hire you but we're in a hiring freeze", or "we can't justify taking on any new employees now that all this is going on"... Well finally with restrictions being lifted and things opening back up, I will now have two offers to pick from on Monday, both great opportunities! This has been a very humbling and eye opening experience for me because I have been working in some capacity literally since 6th grade (I'm 48), never being fired, let go, or downsized... I hope now that restrictions are being lifted, others on here facing similar challenges will have the same luck I have been fortunate to have and are able to get back to work or get employed!
With that being said, do we still feel good about guys like Mondon and a few other big fish, or has the momentum we enjoyed for a couple of months faded? I saw where he pushed back his decision date? Sounds like we are out of it with Mims? Do folks think that if we start off the season as most expect, we will get the commitments we need and will find ourselves shifting the list to make room? I remember seeing ATL Vol saying he was "giddy", but never saw anything else about it....
Has there been anymore on the JTD being eligible or not at UGA and where the other transfer stands that everyone including Pollack said would be a heisman frontrunner?
So glad about your opportunities! We always appreciate them more after an experience like yours.... And we're all asking the same questions.I haven't been on here very much in the past 3-4 months, only to see where we stand on recruits. Glad to hear you found something new. Went through the exact situation in 2009 when the economy fell apart. Looking at it 11 years later, it’s amazing to see how much better off I am now. Was able to get a much better job. I had become very complacent and would not have looked for better opportunities. God took care of me and my family through it all, even though my faith was weak.I haven't been on here very much in the past 3-4 months, only to see where we stand on recruits. When they came to Knoxville in 2015 I ended up going with my dad at the last minute. Got tickets in the upper deck visitors section. If I ever hear woo pig sooooie again before I die it will be too soonIf we lose to Arkansas I’m going full Catbone from then on out. I want to stomp them. 40-0. Y’all aren’t around enough Arkansas fans. They are idiots and think they should be yearly contenders because of those few Petrino years.
