Yeah, I know. But like I said in later posts, Pryor loved to push the envelope of what was acceptable. I think the current generation would be shocked by what he found acceptable humor. I think people tend to forget comedy is social commentary with laughs.

No. It wouldn't. The nuance being that Blazing Saddles didn't punch down.

And Catbone complaining about The Office not being aired today is one of the singular dumbest thoughts I've heard another human being have when it's practically worshiped in syndication/streaming. You can literally type "The Office" in your browser bar and find any one of thousands of contemporary sources praising it. Once again, it didn't punch down.

Beyond the fact that you're both wrong with your statements. Let's summarize the context of the discussion. One side of this argument has young men dying in the streets at the hands of the folk who are supposed to protect them and y'all are over on the other side butthurt because movies and TVs can't make a racist caricature out of Mickey Rooney.

Let me give you another summary. You're acting like a jackass. You have no idea how I feel or what side of the argument I'm on as I've been avoiding the political nature of the discussion. And to say the PC culture hasn't affected what is and is not seen as acceptable humor is ignorant and lazy.

The problem here is too many anarchist nerds have hijacked a potentially GREAT movement. It’s a big cluster of commie LARPers drowning out the voices we need and want to hear.

Be careful. I have watched baseball for 50 years and those mostly Caucasian pre Madonnas are pissing me off refusing to try a compromise to play. If I can leave the MLB, I can leave college football and take a few more overseas trips instead. They don’t have any power over my happiness and I love football.

Last year was basically 90 plus. Remember we had a 77 longsnapper tanking the average. Lol. We will get 90 plus this year too, for a third straight year. Then if we can get 9-10 wins, 92+ going forward I'd wager
