Does anyone know why we didn't play another quarterback after the game was clearly won?

Thought it was to make sure there were no mistakes to let Missouri back in it with a QB that was hitting the WRs. Probably so no one would start screaming about how much better he handed off than JG.

This may be this team's best chance to knock off one of the Big 3. Hopefully, the return of Thompson and Shamburger will clear up some of the secondary woes and hopefully there will be some more exotic blitz and pressure schemes used this week. I believe it will come down to the running game and winning the turnover battle. One of these QBs is going to have an off game. I hope it's not JG. You know Pruitt wants this. You know Cade wants this. I'm excited and cautiously optimistic.

Rucker said yesterday Sham should be back, and im guessing Bryce plays on more than just third down. My biggest concern is more our D line vs their o line. Can we hold up and get pressure on passing downs?

We need to be able to get more pressure consistently rushing 4. If we rush four we cant give the other teams QB 6 seconds to pass.

I think shamburger helps if he’s back this week, but I definitely feel like people are overrating him. He’s not going to be the cure to our secondary woes, IMO.

Who knows? Maybe Cade doesn't go pro after this year because he wants to play another year with Cooper! Wishful thinking, but I wouldn't have thought at this time a year ago that Trey Smith would have returned.

I still think we’re another year away from really competing with the big three.

We’ll have to play mistake free. That uga defense is scary.

Hit up Meat Church or BBQ With Franklin for some real Texas brisket pointers. Legit and widely regarded as some of the best around, period. This video is great for starters:




Whatever you do, the most important things are smoke, cooking low and slow, and just time sweet time. Also, get a good thermometer.

202° is perfect for taking the meats and making them melt in your mouth. Smoked a roast last week and was able to shred it just like a butt roast. The pellet smoker is stupid easy and delicious.

We can definitely beat Texas AM and Auburn though as long as we are healthy. And we have to beat Arkansas, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.

7-3 is doable and would be great for the program.

Call it BVS, but I've heard too many times we are holding back and playing vanilla just to see this is who we are. I am sure there are some wrinkles we will throw at them but what you see is what you get.

I expect Pruitt and co to get after the pups with blitz packages, but our O is what it is. We will try and grind it out and JG hopefully will make some plays. Ga is ok on offense, but their D is stout and fast.

I expect Pruitt to dial plays up on defense that kirby and this qb haven’t seen before on film.the kitchen sink will be thrown this week and the boys will be locked in.Pruitt wants kirby on that wall

I agree with everything you said, but we really need to get a win from one of the big 3. It would be great for the program on so many levels. Helps recruiting, helps national media to talk about us more and helps relieve the BVS from our fan base after all these years

I’m just not ready to trust us to beat UGA. I think they still have more talent than us and if we can’t get pressure on the QB we won’t beat them.
