Y’all think a rain game helps or hurts us? I like it. Bring all the chaos for Bennett.

I don’t like it for one simple reason, I think it will take away our deep ball passing ability. And that’s been one of the things I’ve seen us do consistently that will force a defense to remain honest when trying to stop the run. If we take away the deep ball cause of rain, we turn into a 1 dimensional team that can be schemed up by UGA’s powerhouse defense

Also, if it doesn’t rain, pass protection has to be better going forward if we want to be upper echelon in the SEC

my gut reaction is it hurts UGA more than it helps/hurts us...for one reason...it negates the speed advantage they have.....

makes it a physical slug fest type of game and i just think we can go toe to toe in a game like that with them.

if it's a track meet...eventually, i think they can out athelte us....maybe making 1 or 2 plays that are the difference int he game.

in a mudder....who know what the hell happens. disaster and opportunity with every snap....kick...punt/kick return.....

Keyton hasn't been great tbh I sort of agree
He would look a lot better if JG would hit him instead of throwing it over his head when he's running wide open on a wheel or flipping him to back shoulder when he just burned the CB and Safety down the seam (and that's not JG hate, that's a fact, and honestly JG has been decently serviceable so far), with that being said he also has had a drop or two, but if you hit him with a good throw on those 2 plays I just talked about, you might feel a little different on Keyton's performance thus far

In this case those grades are the same as the eye test.
80 looks lost out there to me

Why does he look lost to you specifically? I haven’t watched all-22 tape but those grades are silly because they don’t know the exact play call or what each individual players role is each play. No one does except for the ones involved. You can guess a lot of times and get it right or close but they may be giving a bad grade on plays where he’s doing exactly what the coaching staff is wanting from them. Defense is even harder. We run like 4 variations of cover 3

I think it helps because it can take the crowd out of the game a little.

I like our ground game a little better. I also think rain takes away the short passes that need a tight spiral in a small window. All Bennett has shown so far is the short pass. I wouldn't mind rain at all this Saturday.

He doesn’t appear to me to be a good route runner. Isn’t strong attacking the ball in traffic and isn’t physical in run blocking from my view

Pff grades show 80 having another really bad game. Second worse of offensive players.

imo it’s time to give his reps to the puppies

Either Keyton is not running his routes properly or JG is wildly inaccurate only when he throws to Keyton, and I am guessing the former. But with the way Hyatt has looked so far, with that speed, he needs to be playing a lot.

Palmer has been JG's best connection so far. Idk what the issue is with Keyton, but he needs less targets until they figure it out.

Velus and Hyatt need more touches. The deep throw to Hyatt in that 1st half was a thing of beauty. Nothing fancy, Hyatt just ran right past that DB. He has elite speed.
