my gut reaction is it hurts UGA more than it helps/hurts us...for one reason...it negates the speed advantage they have.....

makes it a physical slug fest type of game and i just think we can go toe to toe in a game like that with them.

if it's a track meet...eventually, i think they can out athelte us....maybe making 1 or 2 plays that are the difference int he game.

in a mudder....who know what the hell happens. disaster and opportunity with every snap....kick...punt/kick return.....
The thought of our punting game in a downpour scares me.

From the Georgia message board at 247:

What are the chances Cade Mays loses his temper during this game? I think its pretty high. He is definitely a "play through the whistle" guy. I just feel like he will get baited at some point.

I disagree that he's a "play through the whistle guy"; he's not even a "play through the echo of the whistle" guy. He's a "play until the huddle guy," which I loved when he was here but now hate with all of my heart

Legendary drunk poster Don. I'm guessing he meant "note your post"...? You never know with that guy and he's unlikely to ever clarify.

But if you need a golf tip, he's your guy. Just don't bring up UT's golf coach 🤣 dude is salty af UT passed on his brother
Could it mean "Put it to bed"; i.e. kill it?

"This baby loves the slop, eats the slop. His father was a mudder... his mother was a mudder" Am I right @coskramer?

Guys.... apparently we won’t run.... and we will be overwhelmed on the Line of Scrimmages.....

Have they even looked at our running stats? Or our Offensive Line.... I’m confused by this.....
Wow does ole lagunadawg even know wtf he’s watching? He may want to check our rb stats vs theirs...

Of course not but his reps need to be limited imo

11 looks like a stud to me in limited action

He’s been covered up by other WRs tho allowing him free releases. If you put 11 on the outside lord especially against Georgia that’s not gonna happen.

You play the game for a reason. Nothing is a given. Both teams are gonna be pumped, and I think we see some new twists on both sides of the ball. This is big boy football and we need to show we're big boys again. I'm excited. Screw all the haters and the doubters. I can handle losing if it happens, just as long as we effin' play hard and smack 'em in the face and let them know, we ain't no cupcake. Those days are over. Maximum effort and kick 'em in the teeth. That's what I want to see. For whatever reason, when it comes to battle of the wills, I think we win. I think our guys want it more. Doesn't mean we win the game, but I like our chances.

"I'm ready for a dog fight," Tennessee sophomore linebacker Henry To'o To'o said with a smile. "I think we're ready for the challenge, and I think we're up for the challenge. That's what we play in the SEC for. They're a phenomenal team, and we've just got to go out this week and focus on the details and give it everything we've got."

Said Vols third-year coach Jeremy Pruitt: "It's why I came to Tennessee, and it's why these players came to Tennessee. You want to play in games like this, and we're looking forward to it."
