I'll agree that Snit is better than Gonzalez. Is it working? We'll see. If we lose to the Dodgers because they're better than us, then okay. If we lose to the Dodgers because of boneheaded decisions from the manager, just like we saw last year in the Cardinals series, then the answer would be no.They had talent. Braves had young players and virtual rookies. No comparison with the relative quality of pitching staffs. Philly was loaded. Braves won the division. One constant since Snitker was hired is IMPROVEMENT every season. We had the opposite with Fredi Gonzalez...so we should know the difference. AAâs seasoned enough to know that you donât wantonly fire results for that unknown âbetter managerâ. You make changes when itâs not working. Is that what you see in this team...not working?
Talent wins in baseball. You can teach a better approach at the plate, but not much you can do if a player doesnât have the talent to make contact.Nah. Thankfully the braves have so much talent in Ozzie, Acuna, Freddie, Duvall, Ozuna, Dansby, and Travis that, even when Snit brings out Luke Jackson with runners on base, even though everyone else in America knows that is a horrible decision, that our offense can overcome. Again, thankfully Snit taught those guys how to hit home runs or our offense would be terrible.
No you don't....I want some !!! I love the Hot Ones channel. And I love super hot wings
Oh sh!t I take it back I take it back I donât want to try it hahahaNo you don't....
I bought that one because it was one of the hotter ones, 115,000 Scoville, but also because one of the guys on the show said it tasted good. No it doesn't. It tastes awful, and I'm sitting here having chest pains, I've lost my sense of taste, and I feel like I'm about to have explosive diarrhea
When the Cubs broke their curse, Maddon doubled up on the âboneheaded decisionsâ. Theyâre never the reason you lost. Itâs the overall performance all series long.I'll agree that Snit is better than Gonzalez. Is it working? We'll see. If we lose to the Dodgers because they're better than us, then okay. you chittin?@Bassmaster_Vol gonna need a new plumber here very soon
(yes Iâm quoting my own post) I want to add to this - Tatis was supposedly a huge reason Machado signed with the Padres. So, if thatâs true, Mozeliak double F***** the Cardinals.Talent wins in baseball. You can teach a better approach at the plate, but not much you can do if a player doesnât have the talent to make contact.
Braves are in a fantastic spot. Itâs not like theyâve been absolutely stacked for a decade like the Dodgers and continually coming up short. Their young studs are just now finding their place in the game.
As a Cardinals fan, Iâd much rather be in yâalls situation. I think Mike Shildt actually is one of the best managers in the game, but we wont get to the WS again until we get rid of Mozeliak and bring in a GM willing to dish out the money for big bats. Heâs also traded away some of our best hitting prospects - Stephen Piscotty, Randy Arozarena, Luke Voit, Tommy Pham. Couldâve had Tatis if he wouldâve shelled out another 100K (Tatisâ dad was a Cardinal and was supposedly begging the Cardinals to sign him!) Oh, and he let Marcell Ozuna just walk. Absolute travesty how he is wasting Yadi and Wainwrightâs final years. All the Cards need are the bats. Braves are poised to make WS runs for the next 5+ years. Enjoy it while you can!

Sick with the flu, laying on the couch trying to watch the game. We "won" drifted off to sleep woke up and saw on the bottom scroll later that LSU had won?? I was way to sick to get mad but I DIDI was in graduate school and had left my apartment to get to the stadium in time to see Colorado play UGA. My brother was updating me over the phone as I went to the stadium. I lost reception as I got inside, but as luck would have it, a guy in a Tennessee beanie was standing a few rows down updating the game to his friend. I got to him right as he said, "We just won." My eyes lit up. "WE WON?!" "Yeah," he said, "Stopped 'em at the goal line." I pumped my fist and ran out of the stadium. Ran into two professors attending the game who waved at me. "WE BEAT LSU!" I yelled at them as I ran by. I got reception back and my brother called me. We were celebrating when he went "Wait. Hang on. There's a flag." My heart sank. We all know what happened next. In my next class on Monday, my professor said, "Math is hard." I seethed. Still hurts, 10 years later. Oh well. I did get to watch Colorado beat Georgia that night.
