These are always tricky with eras and styles. Eddie gets mad points for innovation and setting a new standard, but modern guitarists like Petrucci, Satriani, Vai are superior in composition and equal and very likely better in proficiency

Idk Tom DeLonge is way better than people give him credit for

..

But I haven't thought of Steve Vai in foorreeevvverrr

I know his catalog is deep but this is once of my absolute favorites of his

I'm still partial to the innovators, which is why guys like Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton will always be on my top 10 list.

This kid looked good on the first drive at RB for Tech tonight. I never understood why our staff wanted him as a CB and offered Hodge as a RB. Hodge won’t ever be a factor at Tennessee, Gibbs is already looking good at GT. Head scratcher.
There’s a reason they’re being paid what they are for what they know and we aren’t 🤷‍♂️

Just read Jake Rowe's thoughts from that side:

our OL is ok but their NT will rip our line in half while their LBs rape and torture every family in Tennessee, their run game will split the fabric of time and space against our playground DL, and WHO can possibly stop Kearis Jackson and George Pickens?? Certainly no NFL team could.

Might as well just park the dang bus in Knoxville and close the program.

J/K fugg em all!!

Dang, after seeing that GIF I remembered that he has now passed and I now have the sads. Great actor and an even better person. #yibambe

Meh. They make mistakes. They also used an initial counter on a damn backup long snapper, which I said was stupid at the time and it’s turned out to be stupid.

Coaches mess up. And many of them overthink things. It’s fair to question them. Especially when a kid who was deemed a CB by our staff is looking good at RB for another school.

Tee Hodge is not an SEC RB. In spite of what his East Tennessee fan club says. Should’ve taken Gibbs over him. Feel free to screenshot this and come back to it in a few years.

Do the Texas fans put Herman in warm water if they lose?

"Texas is baaaack" was almost 2 years ago. Do they still believe that?
Strong was on a downward trend from the very beginning and if they beat KANSAS in his last season he would’ve been retained. Herman will get at least another season.

Pulling it off at 200 so it rises to 205 is the best. That's when the fat has really started to break down and fall away. As long as you keep it low and slow you'll still get that color too

I don't have the best meat thermometer, but it gets the job done (gonna get me a Thermoworks soon). But with that cook I took the roasts to their stall then placed them in an aluminum pan with warm beef broth. Covered them up with foil and stuck them back on the Joe until they reached 198. Allowed them to sit for an hour before pulling. My thoughts align with what you are saying. Take the roasts to at least 200 next time, maybe even 202 and see if that helps. I always take my pork butts off the Joe at 198 so I wanted to start there. Still made friggin good sandwiches, though.

Hodge was there and Gibbs was here, someone would be spouting the same thing.

If you must have a fall wedding, schedule it on a Friday night. For whatever reason, people in the south just absolutely adore Fall Saturday weddings.

Yup, going to a wedding tomorrow. Starts @ game time.

I wouldn’t go (4 hour drive esch way), but the young man was instrumental in influencing my son to work hard and become an Eagle Scout.
I was told that I influenced the young man to go to med school (he graduates this year). Should be square, but I promised that I would attend the wedding. Just so happens that the only weekend all year that they can get married is this one...

Dang me and my promises 😳
