Idk if it means much, but it looks like GA was glued to the left hash on offense. They really like playing to the boundary side with the play going to Bennett’s left. I wonder if that’s a weakness of his they are trying to cover up. Ie limit reads or shorten throws...

Meh. They make mistakes. They also used an initial counter on a damn backup long snapper, which I said was stupid at the time and it’s turned out to be stupid.

Coaches mess up. And many of them overthink things. It’s fair to question them. Especially when a kid who was deemed a CB by our staff is looking good at RB for another school.

Tee Hodge is not an SEC RB. In spite of what his East Tennessee fan club says. Should’ve taken Gibbs over him. Feel free to screenshot this and come back to it in a few years.

How can you say Hodge is not a SEC back two games into his freshman year.

Hodge also had offers from Michigan, Oregon and Penn State. Why would you lie and say we beat out Austin Peay and Chattanooga for Hodge when he had atleadt 20 offers? Your attacks on him seem to be on a personal level, kinda weird tbh.

1. How do you know for sure we would’ve got him?? He had committable offers from LSU, Florida & Alabama AND STILL signed with Georgia Tech.

2. Austin Peay and Chattanooga?? No his offer list isn’t anything to write home about but at least not nitpick the worst schools on his list.

3. Why are we still complaining about recruits we don’t get?? Especially ones that aren’t in conference..

By your logic, Jeff Sims is better than HB5 too?? I don’t think anyone outside of Georgia Tech fans would think that.

Let’s not jump to conclusions when we’re not even halfway through their first seasons.

This kid looked good on the first drive at RB for Tech tonight. I never understood why our staff wanted him as a CB and offered Hodge as a RB. Hodge won’t ever be a factor at Tennessee, Gibbs is already looking good at GT. Head scratcher.

This guy is on a different stage right now. He's not a bad player, but these aren't good teams. Players that Pruitt have switched to D have ended up pretty good so I'm not questioning it.

I don't have the best meat thermometer, but it gets the job done (gonna get me a Thermoworks soon). But with that cook I took the roasts to their stall then placed them in an aluminum pan with warm beef broth. Covered them up with foil and stuck them back on the Joe until they reached 198. Allowed them to sit for an hour before pulling. My thoughts align with what you are saying. Take the roasts to at least 200 next time, maybe even 202 and see if that helps. I always take my pork butts off the Joe at 198 so I wanted to start there. Still made friggin good sandwiches, though.

You're right, they are quite tasty at your temp, but Pork being a "lean" meat rises in temperature quicker, and to a greater degree than beef does. Plus, chuck roasts tend to be harder to temp as there's more fat lines your thermometer could end up in. Looks good though!

I am watching the South Pit and Meigs County game and they showed the schedule of games I guess that they are going to show. One of the games was Clemson vs Miami game and he makes this statement, "Clemson is playing some kind of schedule this year." I was like, what? They play one of the easiest schedule in all of college football.

A) All offers are not created equal. If you think those offers are all commitable, you don’t know how recruiting works.

B) I picked Peay and Nooga (maybe Kentucky, depending on when he pulled the trigger) because those were his likely destinations had he not chosen Tennessee. If he had commitable offers from Michigan, Penn State, etc., then Peay and Chattanooga aren’t even on his list. You don’t even consider those types of programs unless you have to.

I told y’all after seeing Jauan Jennings in high school that he isn’t an SEC QB and would play WR or DB. A bunch of y’all wanted to argue, insisting that I had some bias against him.

I told y’all that Jimmy Holiday wasn’t going to be a QB at UT and he’d be a WR or DB. A bunch of y’all wanted to argue.

I’m telling you now that Tee Hodge will never be more then a benchwarmer (barring a rash of injuries). Gibbs is and will be much better. It’s not bias or personal. I’ve seen him play. He’s not good enough to play RB in the SEC. Just like Jennings and Holiday weren’t good enough to play QB in the SEC. If I’m wrong in 3-4 years, feel free to call me on it. I’ll own it.

I said at the time that’s stupid because you can get a walk-on to long snap and you can use that scholarship on an athlete instead. I was right, the staff and posters who defended that decision were wrong.
